I had a loan a few years ago with Citifinancial, they have just refunded all my PPI premiums as a goodwill gesture (just over £900!!) I only sent first letter, thanks to everyone that offered help and advice. If only they would acknowledge receiving my reclaim letters for a current loan I have with them!!

Have been writing to citicards for the past few month asking for a copy of my CCA and asking about my PPI premiums still no CCA but in the post today a letter stating they would be paying £1500 in PPi premiums but this would be put towards my account.

What do you think should I still be persuing my CCA and would they send me a cheque instead of paying towards the balance of my account!!!!!!!

    Hi Hannah

Strange that they are giving you an offer and yet they have not sent you your CCA.

Did you enclose the £1 payment for this CCA request, if so they should have supplied you with this by 12 days of you requesting this.

Personally I would see what is on your CCA in case there is even more to add, such as more PPI and the interest.

Great start on an offer though.:T

Ye, sent the £1 fee, and many, many letters but to know avail, sent last letter last week stating that if they did not comply with any of my requests i would be contacting the FOS, a few days later I received this letter, it makes me suspicious that they are willing to part with this money so easily. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi hun

They should have complied with this.
Have you tried contacting the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and ask them to help, I would ring them and not email as they can take a while to get back.;)

It's not a bad offer really, but it depends on what it is originally and the interest as well.;) So it is entirely up to you hun XXX
