I received PPI back on my Egg credit card that was sold to me in Sep 2004, refunded in full plus 8% interest after 1 letter.

Well after battling for over two weeks, I have not got anywhere, and the maxim is
'if the loan is still outstanding the amount awarded will be deducted from the balance'

Never mind at least it was a good result, thank you for your kind messages

Did you get contacted directly and how long from when you filed with FOS did it take to get a decision?:T

I have posted 2 complaints with FOS one for loans.co.uk with same problem as you and another with Ocean Finance for also the same thing Ocean went to FOS in July 08 and I still have not been assigned an adjudicator, the other complaint went to FOS August 08 and I got a letter yesterday say that I now have an adjudicator. it is taken around 6 to 9 months so they say but I know people that have been waiting a year before they got any decission from FOS. However if you are suffering financail difficulty due to the mis-selling of this PPI then they will fastrack you. otherwise it is a long waiting game.

i sent my claim to fos just before christmas and got a adjudicator last month and now am just waiting for a response from welcome finance with there settlement! I wouldnt say i was suffering financial difficulty either

That great but it has been a very long wait for me and many other. You are obviously very lucky... please could you pass some of that luck to me.... lol!!! Good luck and hope you get your settlement soon.

On Saturday we received our settlement cheque from Nemo!! We were shocked it was so quick - only 2 weeks from when we returned our acceptance to FOS!! In total we received £10,800.64!!!:beer: Good luck to all those still awaiting results of claims and keep positive!!! It has taken us about 18 months from the date we first complained to Nemo!!!!
