Hi all just wanted to let you know my husband took a credit card out with halifax in 1999 and was paying ppi which he cancelled in about 2003 -2004 about 8 weeks ago i sent off one of martins letters to reclaim it and within 2 weeks he had a letter saying they had received it then about a week after that he had another letter saying they were paying out with interest but did not confirm how much then about 2 weeks ago a nice little cheque for £2152 came through the door result and i cant believe how quick it all happened.0

FINALLY A SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!
I'm delighted to report at last my own success with reclaiming. I started a reclaiming process with a Lloyds Tsb loan for miss-sold ppi just over a year ago. After all the fob off letters I took it to the FOS last july and it got to an adjudicator in january this year. The adjudicator was brilliant and upheld my claim. However Lloyds disputed this and offered around £300 as a goodwill gesture which I refused. The adjudicator relayed my decision not to accept to Lloyds and it was due for referral to an ombudsman. However, this morning I have recieved a letter from the FOS saying that after further review Lloyds have decided to refund in full as advised by the FOS. Needless to say I am absolutely delighted. The amount will be around £2100.
HUGE thanks to Martin and his team, Also all other reclaimers on here who are very helpful. But I must thank the FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN SERVICE who have been absolutely fantastic and who despite being absolutely snowed under with claims have been very helpful, courteous and efficient.
WELL DONE TO EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAVE HAD SUCCESS ALSO.

Recieved my refund on friday. so around 3weeks after acceptance. so much better than the 12 weeks estimated. am delighted. nothing left as have had to pay some really pressing debts but it came in handy and I am pleased to have it back. Now for the rest..............................0 -
