They send out a 2nd class envelope to return the acceptance form so I'd hope the money will be in my account by next week if, indeed, it is applied to my account on receipt of the form!! I returned one for a smaller amount last week, which they should have received by Wednesday/Thursday so I'll let you know when that's in my account.
Don't want to give you bad news but I sent back my acceptance over 2 weeks ago and still haven't got it in my account - called the ppi team in Manchester last week and was advised that it would be 3-4 weeks as they had loads of these to process.0 -

My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was 60. Now she's 97 years old and we don't know where the hell she is.0 -

This is the first time i have done anything like this and when i saw that we can claim for PPI i was straight on to it.
After reading a few threads nothing was mentioned about Barclays so thought that it would be no good how wrong i was. I printed off the template and sent it to Barclays the beginning of February and within a couple of weeks i had a response with one of their own claim forms to fill in which i did. They said that they will be next contacting me by 12th March so fingers crossed.
We borrowed 15k over 7 years and after the monthly payments including PPi i now realised to my horror we are paying back 24k so hopefully a nice sum will be coming my way.
I will keep you informed.
I said i would keep you informed well they were true to their word i did get a reply on the 12th March and they are still looking into my investigation and will be contacting me again by 12th April (Yes another month). I will see what they say then but if i get the same reply my claws are going to be out and the Ombudsman letter will be on its way.
Again i will keep you informed.0
