  • Hello,

Hypothetical question - If I had a loan with, say, Santander, and they sold my debt to, say, Moorcroft, would my PPI successful claim against Santander be passed to Moorcroft to pay anything I may still owe them????

    Thanks

Hi folk (nice to see Di back) can anyone tell me how the fos and fscs differ in dealing with claims, mine is with or was with Norton one of those front loaded jobbies which cost us nearly 8k it was with the fos now being dealt with by the fscs i have been told they differ in the way claims are dealt with

    Hiya

Hope your well and thank you.:A;)

Found some details which may explain how each work -

    http://www.ftadviser.com/2011/11/10/regulation/q-what-is-the-difference-between-the-fscs-and-fos-AK9Q83aR1yg0FKzqidwgoO/article.html

Hope this helps and also check on the FSCS site if you've not done so yet, as they update regularly.:D;)

They deal and resolve a lot of cases where front loaded comes into it, you should be fine.

    Hi
If there is outstanding debt/arrears then I understand they will or may use it towards that, then it may differ from one business to the other, although the interest I understand should come back to you.;)

    Hi

Yes give them a ring if nothing in the post by Monday, ask for an update as you've heard nothing.

    Good luck.;)

  • Hi all,

Today I have received a letter from LLoyds offering me 3709.80 :j im a little confused about how this is paid out, will I get a refund of the cash into my current account or will they pay this sum off the loan that I currently have with Lloyds?

In the letter it states on one page that the loan service centre will send a statement which shows the payments they have made to my loan account & confirm the outstanding balance I owe, but on the next page it states that i will be sent a cheque or the money will be paid direct to my Lloyds account.....Am I actually going to see the money?

This is my first offer from 3 refinanced loans that have been open since 2006 (up too Dec2010) I only called Lloyds once & they have come back to me within 6 weeks! should i accept the first offer or are they holding more back?

    Thanks in Advance!
