One of my results is £27.95 from RBS and I can't even get them to pay that one out. As they owe me over £22,000 in total what chance do you think I have of getting anything this side of Chistmas. Am off next week to open another bank account to put it in when it arrives. I'll know the day before the money goes in as that irritating woman from my branch will ring me up in the afternoon and ask me if I know that a large sum of money is going into my account the next day and can she advise me on what to do with it. And my reply will be?

********Answers on a postcard please.

WISH YOU WERE HERE postcard from Mauritius :D;)
Successes
Sainsbury's/BOS £6,400 Paid :)
MBNA £3,600 Paid :)

I know it's the wrong thread but I no everybody on here i received an offer from Standard Life today for a mis-sold endowment for.

£5049.00 yippee, :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You got your cheque from First Plus yet Nat?
• I am on day 35 waiting on a cheque from RBS, I read this every day to see how others are getting on and the advice given is great. But for those of you who think there is no hope, I didn't have any Loan numbers but contacted RBS because I knew I had loans with them in the past and always had ppi because I was advised to.

I wrote to RBS telling them this and they replied with all the loan numbers I had since 1992. They couldn't offer me anything pre 1996 because of the time lapse but offered me 8K on 4 loans between 1996 and 2001.

I have done the same with Halifax and they have replied with 5 loan account numbers that they are looking into.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My story:
• What were you reclaiming: Loan
• Who was the provider: LloydsTSB
• How much did you get back: £16,654
• Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: after letter
• And then write your brief reclaim tale: I downloaded the form from the LloydsTSB website and completed all the information required. It took 16 weeks for LloydsTSB to respond but it was positive. They offered me £16,000 for the 4 loans I took in the past with the bank.
Thank you MARTIN!!!!!

I am currently unemployed and really need the money.

Thank you for making me sent the letters and try to get some money back. This is my second success! Going to try for LloydsTSB credit card now.

Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!

hi , I had £6000 of my payout from RBS today but still outstanding is 1 payment 0f £500 and all the interest. I was shocked to see it in my a/c as I wasn't expecting it till around 11 th Nov and last week I had a letter saying they were 3/4 weeks late with payouts !
I didn't have any paperwork to go on and in my claim I told them this and asked them to get in touch with my local branch and get the details from them . Cheeky or what !!! Now to wait and see what happens with my RBS credit card . Anne

Hi, does anyone have an e-mail address for Yorkshire Bank ppi claims? I have their address but no printer to print a letter out on so thought I may be able to e-mail them. I e-mailed Halifax Bank and they accepted that method of complaint. Thanks, Di
You could try using this email, but don't send the forms, email them to make sure you can submit it this way, their and most other banks email systems aren't very secure so they sometimes don't want all your details emailed to them. This is the email address for their ppi customer service team.
AQU.PPI@eu.nabgroup.com

Hope this helps.:D

So, do I need to inform them about the £48.99 5.gif I received today? :rotfl:

There's no breakdown of nothing in the letter attached to the cheque. Thanks.
No but you only have to let them know about the 8% interest:D You could always check with the bank to see if they have paid the tax for you:D Although if you contact HMRC they might even feel sorry for the small amount(allbeit better in your pocket) and let you off with it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've already posted this one once, but here are the full details now:
Claim Against: Barclaycard PPI
Card Originally applied for: c. 1991
PPI Claim started with Barclaycard: 16 May 2011
Offer letter dated: 5 September 2011
Acceptance received by Barclaycard: 8 September 2011
Refund appeared on Barclaycard online: 26 October 2011
Refund in Bank Account: 28 October 2011

And the refund details:
Refund of PPI payments: £6,125.12
Refund of APR: £44,820.36
8% Simple interest: £12,036.69
TOTAL refunded: £62,982.17

One interesting thing to note is that I received a £4 credit to my current account on 25th October which also stated 'BARCLAYCARD REFUND' - it seems that for large transactions they verify the account details with a small credit first...

Next stop is to go and buy a new car :):):):)
:j:jWOW:j:j
What an amazing result, well done.

Just for sake of asking was the 8% simple interest had the tax taken off at source by Barclaycard?
Thanks to all the competition posters.

Hi All ,

The sun is shining on the Isle of Lewis today ....well not literally but in my mind it is !!!

Some of my RBS payment came today !!! Not due till the 11th November but when I checked my A/C this morning there it was ...not the full amount though , 1 payment of £567 still to come and also all the interest . I got a big shock to see it there especially as I had a letter last week saying they were 3/4 weeks behind with payments !

So who knows , perhaps all you RBS customers won't have to wait the extra weeks after all ...hope not .

Cheers , Anne x
Well done Anne, hope you enjoy getting to spend some of that money on yourself.
If you fancy a nice meal and haven't already tried it, go to the restuarant I think it's Solas at the Caberfeidh Hotel, I loved it, or hop across to North Uist and go to Langass Lodge, fantastic seafood there.:D
Thanks to all the competition posters.
