I would tell the CEO about this, maybe it will push them quicker, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I was wondering if anyone could help me, i have been told by HSBC that my claim has been successful, but i'm waiting for my letter with how much i'll get. I am wondering if you can work out by how much the loan was the amount i'd receive back, the loan amount was £6600?
Do you know if this is possible?
I have asked them for copies of my loan agreement, so i can see the amount, but they are dragging their heels........0 -

We're in a similar situation as my claim went as far as the Financial Ombudsman Service, who ruled in our favour back in April. It's disheartening that financial companies are quick to jump on you if you owe them a fiver, yet when they owe you money, things move incredibly slowly. Our claim is being reviewed by an actual Ombudsman at present, but I have no idea how long before we find out what the final outcome
is to be.0 -
Woo Hoo :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Saw the post man and thought, junk as usual.
Opened the first letter and it is my offer letter from halifax and it comes to £2,186.39 - much more than I had thought it would be!!
Just as I was been all giddy I opened the other letter and it was the cheque for payment in full.
Am so excited - think a trip uptown to the bank is in order this afternoon :T
Thank you everyone for your help and good luck to those of you still waiting. Keep on at that CEO, that's what I've been doing every other day0 -

Does anybody have an email address for the tax office please?
My Halifax letters states "please note that this interest payment constitutes taxable income and needs to be discussed with your tax office or professional advisor to determine if any tax is due".
I am hard of hearing so wondered if there was an email address, or if not the postal address so I can write to them to check how I stand.
I am currently on maternity pay which I only have one more payment left of then I will not have any income after that as I am not returning to work so not sure where I would stand on this basis?
Thanks x0 -
