Sandyhills wrote: »Well done to you. I have been told that i would get an offer in about two weeks from FP. I phoned them last night and the "Gemma" told me that as I had paid my loan in two years then i would not be entitled to the whole PPI that was frontloaded onto the loan. Did you experience this? And well done again.
You will get the whole ppi amount back, you will get the premiums you paid to them back with interest and the 8% less any rebate they gave you for the ppi when you settled the loan.
When you settled the loan, they will have given you a rebate on the ppi,the remaining ppi would have been paid by you to them in the settlement figure.0 -

Hi there,
Im still waiting for my cheque from Lloyds TSB Got my calculations dated 16th september and phoned them to query. I was told they could not give me a date for receipt of my CC PPI refund. I have been reading posts from people who have received this directly to their bank accounts but was wondering whether anyone had actually received one of the promised cheques yet? Also are they only paying out by BACS to people who have current accounts with them?
I am also bitterly dissappointed with MBNA :mad:who having promised a refund by today (six weeks from their upheld letter) I have not heard a peep out of them since. Could anyone help me out with an e-mail address for their CEO please?
Also does anyone know whether the first send you a calculation and then make payment or send the calculation with a cheque at the same time? The PPI in this case was in relation to two loans.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Rhi0 -
Hmm very strange,i made a complaint to LOYDS TSB ABOUT MY CLAIM,last week, only got my upheld letter two weeks ago,my money was paid into my account yesterday £4,800,so yes they are liars and bull **itters.
Hi
I made my original claim on 5 May 2011, received notification that claim was upheld on 26 August dated 22 August, received a duplicate on 5 Sept dated 26 Sept, phoned to see if they had received the acceptance form for how the repayment would be worked out (no figure for repayment) yes I was told it had been added to my file on 1 September and that I would receive my details of repayment in 2-3 wks, I telephoned to see what had happened to the letter on 22 Sept was told letter was posted on 20 September, but guess what, STILL NO LETTER. Lloyds TSB are nothing but a lot of swindling lying ********, I was not able to work because of illness when I took my loans out but was told I had to have PPI on my loans or no loan even though there was no prospect of me being able to work in the future.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:0 -

and you can call them on 0800 062 621. It's a bit long winded i.e. "press 1 for this, 2 for that", buteventually you should get thru to a human being. I am on day 21 of the 28 they said it would take, so I rang them just to check the cheque was being sent and lo & behold they sent it yesterday (apparantly) Give them a ring, you may be hanging on a while, but at least it's a freephone number.

Thanks for that I've just got through to them and they were spectacularly unhelpful. They told me that the loans were taking longer than expected and I could expect a wait of a further six weeks and added that the Ombudsman and FSA was already aware of it and there was basically nothing I could do about it. oh and they are sorry!!! Im so bloody mad I could explode, I think i'd better wait a while before e-mailing the ceo as Im too angry at the moment.
Thanks for your help XX0 -

Bit of an update.
My loans have been calculated and the hold up is my credit card (hopefully because the interest involved is so bloody much :rotfl:)
Waiting for a call back when they have finished the calculations on the card (By Friday hopefully)
Then I have to wait for the figures in writing and then accept them.
Payment is normally within 2 days apparently, ie they will send out a cheque within 2 days and process the transfer to my account for the loans within 2 days as well.
Light at the end of the tunnel finally :j
2 days???? Flippin' Eck! Hope it is that quick for you!0 -
Lloyds do certainly not go in date order as i said i only had my upheld letter two weeks ago,and mine was put on to my account yesterday,it was probably because of the complaining i have done to them, also came from holiday to a lovely virgin telephone bill ,about 10 calls to lloyds and a couple of short calls £154.00 another set of swindling rob dogs, them and Lloyds together make a right pair,i am still seething that at the end of the day Lloyds have not been as generous in there payouts as other companies,no contractual interest, only simple interest and 8 years resulting in about £63(simple interest) quid in my books is very miserly.
Shame on you Lloyds TSB,you are certainly NOT A LISTENING BANK.0
