Thanks Di,
All I know is that the interest can be quite a bit more on CCs.
Have had loads of issues with BoS so would like to be sure that I'm getting what I'm entitled to!:)
Hiya
I don't blame you either, it's your money afterall they have kept all this time, good luck x;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I also received the info on my First Direct Refunds today, can I ask if your letter states that you will need to pay tax on the interest?
It says an additional amount has been awarded in respect of the re-financing costs
Subject to your personnel tax status, this may be taxable and should be included in your tax return,0 -
Some banks take a complaint over the phone, but have your reasons for mis sell ready.
People on this site who know the correct address and contact phone numbers will i am sure post these up for you.
If you need anymore help just ask.
Thank you very much Amersall - much appreciated.:)0 -

Hi there
and welcome.:D;)
You can SAR if you want to, but if you just want to find out if you were paying for PPI, you could either call into your local branch, or email them below, give them as many details as possible like I did, full name, address, old address if applicable, date of birth, your account number even will pick up all the loans and credit cards you taken out with them.
To make a reclaim its the same as this site by completing a reclaim questionnaire, you can look on the lloyds site where all details you require are on there to make a reclaim.
To optionally SAR any of the businesses you mentioned about, if you've no account number details then give them as many details as stated above -in order for them to track down your account details.
There is a FULL SAR letter template below link if required.
I am having trouble at the moment in finding the contact details of the other 2, but others on here will probably have these details for you, but otherwise if you contact the Financial ombudsman service in office hourse, on the freephone number they should have these details you require as they will have had dealings with them before.
Hope this helps, good luck on your reclaiming.

After writing to the bank about loans dating back to 1997 I received my final offers this morning thought I would get a few hundred pounds or so BUT to my amazement £11k of refund offers! The biggest was £6700 on one loan! I have now written to check my last two mortgages with them! Thanks to MSE inspiration paying off my credit cards this month and cutting them up! just write if you don't know if you had PPI you might get the best reply ever!! Thanks again and gud look all... will let you know how the mortgage ones go!

Hi new to the forum but have been watching. I have a claim for PPI from OPUS, who took over my card. I have rung up regularly and have bben told I will receive an offer by 10th October at the latest, having been tld previously that it would be by 31st August. The explanation was the backlog htey are going through. has anyone else been told anything similar? There doesn't seem to be much about OPUS on the thread.
Apparently I can't do anything to speed this up.0
