I have just got a reply from Barclays with an offer of £4300 which will be payed direct into my account! WOW!!!!! I can hardly beleive it!

It may have taken over a year to do but it has all been worth it!

Not sure how long it will take for the money to come through now?

I have had two payouts from Barclays and the money went into my bank account before I received the paperwork with all the breakdown of what they were willing to refund me. Check your account regularly they are pretty quick to pay.

sorry to hear they have not kept up to the 16 week timescale they said about originally.

I am not sure if they will speed things up, but hopefully they can still resolve the complaint way before then.

Hi, New to the forum so appologies if I ask something which is obvious or has been asked before. Could someone please clarify;
I complained against 2 mis sold barclays loans back in June 2010 and I have still heard nothing. Are barclays just slow?
I paid the two pound credit check to get details of Credit cards and ,loans but these obviously only go back 6 yeas I think. Does anyone know how I can get details of loans and cards before this date?

Hi and welcome
I would write back and ask them why you've not heard anything on your complaint dated XX/XX/2010.
(At the same time I would personally complete the reclaim questionnaire) because they send these out now as procedure if these are not completed where a complaint have previously been sent in a letter form.

I would personally complete 2 reclaim questionnaires, so they do not get confused as you have 2 to make a reclaim on.

Tell them you are concerned its been well over a year and for this reason you have enclosed further correspondence in regards of your complaints.

Did you receive any confirmation letters from them to say they received your complaint?

Barclays been fine with me on two claims, slow replying but once they did, pretty quick paying out.

Would anyone happen to know if i can ring a number with this reference and find out what is going on?

he has had they upheld letter this was the offer of what he would get .it says a cheque but can he ask for it to be put in his account does he just ring them

Hi Sue

That is great news to have an upheld win, this mean they have agreed to pay back ALL ppi plus interest that applies, well done and yes if you prefer ask if they are able to just pay directly into the bank account instead of the cheque.
Say he agrees with the decision, but would prefer for the refund to be paid directly into the bank, good luck x;)
