I recieved another letter from Santander returning my cheque again for the SAR.

    It says

Dear Sir (can't even get that right lol!)

Please find enclosed your cheque which e to accept for the reason indicated below.

*In accordance with the Consumer Credit Act 1971 a statutory fee of £1 is payable per agreement.

Please ensure that any amendments on the cheque have been initialled.

We should be grateful if you would return the cheque to enable the payment to be processed promptly.

    Yours faithfully.

What do I do now, I thought it they had to comply with my request. Very interestingly on my SAR letter which has been returned also and someone has handwritten on it Too much. Does this mean that I have too much information on my file that they couldn't send it. very bizarre!!

You must have more than one agreement, hence asking for multiples of £1?
Regarding the SAR was it for £10?

Hi I have also been paying overdraft protection with Barclays for years. I was wondering if I do decide to pursue a claim can Barclays remove my overdraft facility? Thanks Erin

What info did you ask for when you wrote to them ?

Did you ask for a copy of all transactions ever made on your account and all other information held by them about you, i.e. a full Subject Access Request ? This has a fee of £10.

Or did you only ask for copies of the loan agreements ?

If its the latter then you only have to pay a fee of £1 under the CCA.
Its amazing how these banks can't even do simple calculations correctly..............
