The breakdown they provided me with over the phone was

    Premium Refund: £729.31
    APR Refund: 391.91
    Rebate Refund: 13.43

From that breakdown I can see that there has been no contractural interest added.... am I right?

    Thanks

Yes there has, the APR refund is the contractual interest.

They whole thing doesnt make any sense as just on the monthly premiums I have paid its roughly £1400+ (based on £20 but some months I have paid over £40) . I'll just have to wait on my phone call from the redress team!

    Thanks for your help!

What was the average balance of the card each month?

The PPI is usually a % of the balance.

For example, my HBOS one is 0.75% of my balance per month, so for a ppi premium of £40 the outstanding balance would have to be £5,330.

At the moment the balance is around £1200 and I pay PPI of £9.00.

But they have paid contractual interest on the premiums that they say that you paid and 8% from the date you complained until now.

You don't get the 8% interest over the 6 years as your account remained with a debit balance.

Just opend the mail and Lloyds have agreed to pay me 4562.00 :Trefund on my credit card ppi. Thought I was going to have a long wait for the calculations as I was told it would take 10 to 12 weeks, only waited 4 weeks.

Does anybody know how long they take to refund this money to my account. There was no acceptance slip just if I was unhappy to contact FOS and they will be paying this money into my bank account. I feel the need of a holiday after all this.

Only another 5 loans with Lloyds to be sorted out. These claims went in on 9 June.

    Congratulations

    Gives us all hope.

Temptation has just got the better of me and I have given Llyods a ring and I was so determind not to. Put my claim in in February 2011 and have had back all the standard letters including the 31st August one. Well they told me when I phoned that my calculations were being done. I said do you mean it's been upheld and they said YES. The chap said that I will definatley be hearing by the end of August and probably next week, so excited I want my next post to be with an amount. Thanks so much to everyone on here I would never have done it without you all:T:T:T

    Hi Everyone,

So I was checking my CC this morning and noticed that £1082.65 had been added to my card by the bank. I called to bank to find out what this was and they told me it was a PPI refund!

This was the first I had been told that my claim being upheld!

So I carried out some simple maths! 6 years at a minimum of £20 =£1440 and thats without the interest!

I instantly phoned the PPI department expressing this.... I am waiting on someone calling me back.

I am right, am I not - I should be recieving more funds that what they have gave me! Im so angry that they are trying to short change me!

Good for you for picking up on this, they would try getting away with it otherwise, keep at them and good luck.;)

Hi and welcome and wishing you luck on your reclaiming.

You are correct that they are now given 16 weeks, but you could maybe email them and ask them for updates.

I would for a quicker feedback, email the CEO, copy the email and send to the Customer care team as well, good luck and emails below.
