feeling quite sick about mine :(

Still within the 28 day period for MBNA(Virgin) and I'm trying to find out if the Co-op are being sly with the 16 week ruling, seen as it is not on the FSA sight any were and I only have the word for it.

    Hi

Have you tried ringing/emailing them as well?

    All the best on this.;)

Does anyone have any idea of the time scale for NRAM to put money into the bank?

We got our offer letter on July 12th and sent our signed acceptance back the same day.

Well done on your success. I too was successful with Northern Rock and posted my acceptance letter on the 6th July. The letter had said it would be 28 days and I saw a post on here saying there was a 6 week delay. I was very surprised and delighted therefore when I looked at my online banking on 26th July to see the money had been paid into my bank. I posted my initial complaint to NRAM on 11th May so 11 weeks from start to finish, which I feel very lucky about when I see how long others are waiting. I also have letters in to RBS, HBOS, NatWest for various loans and credit cards but nothing from them other than holding letters.

    Brilliant, thank you :)

We posted our complaint on May 19th and the offer letter came on July 12th. That's a few days after yours so fingers crossed we get ours this week then :D

Good luck for the rest of your claims :)

I think you need to call the FOS and tell them - they are definbitely NOT entitled to the 16 weeks, they were not a party to the Judicial Review

    Hi,

when in 2004 was the loan taken?

Only ask as 8% interest on £3300 from June 1st 2004 to 28th July this year would be £1889.95

Meaning the total payable to you would be £5189.95

If your loan was taken prior to June 1st 2004 I'd ask them to check their figures

You can put your actual dates in HERE (inserting "8" as the interest rate)

The loan finished in 2009 - it was a five year loan so i think the intrest is correct?

The loan was from 05/04/2004, and the total being £3378 PPI with interest. So according to the 8% calculator we should be due 1979.71? Equalling 5357.71 in total.
Think i should get intouch with northern rock in the morning.

    Hi all!

For the past year now (its taken this long ) so far! I went through HSBC to complain and claim back my PPI on a loan through them! as per usual i didnt get far! So i went the the FOS (Ombudsman) who was soooo helpful! Its taken about 9 months in total for a reply and the FOS always kept me updated! Yesterday i got a letter in the post from the FOS saying HSBC are willing to pay out a sum as a good will gesture! However it doesnt tell me the amount and it says if i am happy then to not contact the FOS and i will automatically get the payout! Of course i will phone the FOS to chase up and see what the amount is! Has any one else out there ever had a letter like this? Or know an amount?

    Please post any comments! Thanks
