Hi just wondering if anyone out there's had recent claims upheld by LTSB loans? I'm waiting to hear back from them for 7 claims....!
The only claims I've seen being upheld from Lloyds are for credit cards...anyone had any sucess???
Thanks
Hi there
And Yes, mine was upheld back some weeks ago, but they had been with them since Nov/Dec 2010.
Hope you hear some good news soon, but have you also tried emailing them to ask for updates?
I found when I emailed the CEO, I would copy the email forward to the customer team and they got back quicker that way, give it a go, all the best on your reclaims, I have yet to do more via Lloyds lol.;)

I've been playing about on the calculator to make sure I don't accept too low an offer
£1050 PPI on loan from February 1999
Currently standing at
£1050 X 4477 days x 8% = £3760.88
£1050 X 4478 days x 8% = £3761.72
84 pence per day interest :money::money:
£3760.88 lump sum invested in ISA at 3% pa for 12 months
31 pence per day interest  :rotfl::rotfl:
So Mr CEO if you want to continue to use delaying tactics feel free:rotfl::rotfl:
It will cost you big style :j:j:j0 -
Dear All, is anyone else getting the run around from Barcaly's? Yes they were the first bank to hold their hands up and say we will pay out if you got your claimin before Arpil. But I've found they constantly change dates as to when they are going to send out letters. To date I've not received one letter even saying that that they are going to honour the claim I did on behalf of my Mum, I've just got info from the press!. Constant ringing and promises have all fallen to the way side, now I'm told they have a deadline of till end of August, after being previously promised an acknowledgement letter 6 weeks ago! In the interim FOS got back to me and upheld the claim!, and said to contact Barclays so i did and was given the run around again!. I just wanted to find out what the amount of refund is? so I asked how they are calculating it ie what principle amount they are using etc anyhoos still waiting for call back a week and half on! I've roughly worked it out but can anyone be defintive please? figures are:
Amount of Loan 14,500 at APR 6.1% with Premium Loan (PPI) £2744.10 Total £17,244.10
Total Amount Payable £16,929.00 + £3204.00
Still paying PPI. Plus I think they are giving a good will gesture of 8% simple interest per year this was over 5yrs.
I make it potential claim back around 5K?????
Any ideas anyone?, Please
If this loan is still running you will get ppi back that you have paid to date, the total ppi is taken off the loan reducing the balance and you get the 8%.
Your claim will have been paid out by the end of august,if it is not then Barclays will be fined,it is in their best interests to pay these claims out.
You will hear before the end of august with the workings out.0 -
Nice postie bought me an offer from Bank of Scotland for an old credit card PPI going back to 1999 ish through to 2010.
Refund of Premiums £1279.45
Interest applied because of interest on PPI £327.75
Interest at 8% £41.96
Total £1,649.16
Does the 8% sound low? Have no idea how they worked this out? Oh and this is their final offer.0 -

Once you get an email from one of the Executive Response Team keep on at them!!! If they make promises keep reminding them of their promises and tell them you expect them to fulfil these promises. That's what I did and it was finally taken off the waiting pile it had been sat on for months and was sorted in weeks!!
Good luck0 -

Think i will be at them every couple of days now, the card has a £20 balance now, just to keep it running until they finally cough up.. didnt want to close the account until then.
Has any one had anything back from OPUS / Citi at all ?

My CAp One over similar period is higher
But it all depends on what PPI you were paying a month and for how long
If you look at my previous post this morning the formula is there
If I haven't got it wrong;)0
