OMG is it really, 2 of mine are at stage 2, Barclaycard and M&S money!
Looks like I will have to spend my lunch hour tomorrow driving home to see if postie has been with good news.
If it goes to stage 2 can they still reject it??

they can at any stage reject it........... boo

but to get this far down the line and not have had it rejected yet is very encouraging but like any complaint can go one of two ways ;)

id just wait till the end of the day and what will be will be :D

my fingers are crossed for you :D

Thanks for taking the trouble to reply, especially good to know there was an occupation box, I wonder will my wifes form say unemployed?
If it does ? Can she Claim:D

Just DO It :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Stop being a civil servant;););)

Read this morning before I left for work and kept laughing to myself all the way there!:rotfl:Good job I was on my own in the car! Too late I'm afraid!!! After 26 years it's ingrained!!! Once a Civil Servant, always a Civil Servant:eek:

Your replies have been great and a wonderful help to me.I sent the e-mail to the CEO last night & I'm a bit disappointed not to have had an acknowledgement but I will give it a couple of days before sending a reminder! ;)

Where is your wife up to with her complaint? Did she get her agreement?

Looking at the agreement again, they were so naughty:mad: Just one line tucked away, asking the question about PPI followed by two questions about employment:' What is your occupation?' and 'the name and address of your employer'

Haven't completed the questionaire yet as the home computer has died and so we're all fighting over the laptop.Hope to have it sent off by the weekend. Will keep you updated!

Love this forum and all the wonderful advice and encouragement offered!! :T

Just wanted to add that i've been successful at having my PPI refunded from my 5 year Barclays graduate loan. Fortunately my housemates at the time were bank workers (Natwest) and upon looking at my statement, told me about the hidden PPI costs. This was back in 2008, before it started appearing everywhere on the tv and internet. I had been paying back my loan for a year at a cost of around £75 a month. I was not informed by the personal banker who arranged my loan that this extra charge had been added or how much it would add to my total repayable debt, so I wrote to Barclays directly to appeal. It took a few months but they adjusted my loan debt and refunded all of the PPI costs off the remainder of my loan. Success! Once again friends come to the rescue...

I have it on good authority their response mechanism is based on a civil service model :p

Where is your wife up to with her complaint? Did she get her agreement?
Not yet, but we're pretty sure she hadn't gone back to work after having the kids

Looking at the agreement again, they were so naughty:mad: Just one line tucked away, asking the question about PPI followed by two questions about employment:' What is your occupation?' and 'the name and address of your employer'::

    PPI Reclaim FAILED
I had a car loan with WELCOME FINANCE some years ago and filled in the forms with BRUNEL FRANKLIN who said they would deal with my case, I kept in touch with them and they informed me that i had infact been sold PPI and they would deal with it. They wrote to WELCOME and told me i would have to wait 8 weeks for a response which i did, They came back to me and said they were going to pursue the matter with WELCOME but i would have to wait a further 8 weeks for another response THEN out of the blue a few days later i received a letter from BRUNEL FRANKLIN saying they are NOT taking the case any further and can not assist me further in this matter. OH well i tried and now i will forget it so anyone out there thinking of using a PPI RECLAIMS COMPANY think twice before using this company seems to me they give up to easy.many thanks BILL
