Put in the year month and amount of ppi that you actually paid.
This will add the ppi up and the 8% and keep a running total x.
Thankyou Amersall, managed to work out the 8% now!!! Thanks again!0 -
Hi there
The fact that you do have proof of the PPI on the agreement is concrete evidence that you were paying for this, I would if you have not done so yet send them a copy and ask them "whats this then"?
Keep at them, they will find the details. Good luck.;)
Thanks Di. I've just been looking through a box that has loads of old paperwork in it and I came across a statement from Egg dated September 2010 and it clearly says:j:
Amount of credit: £3500 + £692.19 repayment protection insurance. And it would appear that even though I asked for all ppi to be cancelled in 2006 I am still paying for it.
Anyway, a copy of the documents together with the statement will be sent on Monday. Quite mystifying that they can't find a statement on my file that they sent to me less than a year ago. Now I am really interested in what they will send me in response to the SAR.

- What were you reclaiming: 2 loans which ran consecutively from 2000 to 2008. One for 15k over 5 years and one for 10k over 3 years
- Who was the provider: Northern Rock
- How much did you get back: £9181.92
- Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Letter to their Customer Relations Department.
- And then write your brief reclaim tale Sent letter on 11th May 2011. Received an acknowledgement followed by a holding letter. Today received a letter saying they had upheld my complaint and would pay premium paid and interest of £5645.16 plus 8% simple interest of £3536.76:rotfl:

Seems HFC/Beneficial are being a little slower with mine - complaint in 23rd March, just had the letter regards the FSA/FOS increased time allowance quoting a maximum final date of 31st August!-
Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!
