Thanks ! I first wrote to them on 22nd Feb and they have been really good. They acknowledged the compliant within days then they have sent two letters saying they need more time to investigate. Then yesterday I had the confirmation that it's been upheld and I've been sucessful.
I did phone them today and they said they do have a big backlog because since the review court case last week they now have to look at all previous loans/credit cards you have with them if you have made a compliant so it's taking alot longer.
They said I should have a settlement figure within 4 weeks :T
That sounds good in respect of the JR ruling, sounds like they are now complying?.
Hope so, that would be good news all round.

    Hi there,

I am looking to claim my PPI back from my House of Fraser store card that I've had for a few years now.

I believe over the last few years the HoF store card has been in the hands of GE Capital, GE Money and now currently Santander.

My question is who do I address the PPI claim to and more importantly what seams to be the best reason for claiming the PPI back for a store card ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I could do with some extra cash after a recent split up and unexpected house move

    Hi there

My son was also mis sold a Burton's store card/ppi under the age of 18.
What my son did was post to GE and they forwarded on to Santander who dealt with the reclaim.
I would maybe therefore address it to Santander and make them aware that you understand that these deal with reclaims now, and post by signed for recorded delivery.

    More details on reclaiming here......

Keep copies of everything in case you need to refer back to this again and they normally have 8 weeks to deal with your complaint, good luck.
