Something is defenetly going on at Halifax
we sent of our claim form of in November about being mis sold on a online loan
we did not want the ppi and were accepted for the loan but they then phoned us and told us that without the ppi the loan could not go through
We had received the usual letters about the complaint being on hold but today we recived a letter saying that have upheld are complaint and will be in touch with figures :j
Also that once the legal proceedings are over that if we are due further payment they will contact us
Well done that is fab news, maybe a decision have been sort of made on the JR and they are making a start..........just maybe.:D
Out of curiosity, what year did you take out this loan? cheers

We took the loan out in 2006
Hopefully we will get about £950 back if Iv worked it out right :j0 -

Welcome were already investigating my claim when they went into default, i sent the FSCS questionnaire back last Monday, received a letter yesterday saying they were investigating and would be in touch within 30 days.
Checked my bank this morning and they've paid just short of 1900 into my account!
Havnt spoke to them yet, and had no idea this was going in, but am I ring in thinking the fscs has already paid the 1800 balance I had on the loan still?
Thanks for all your help :-)
Yes, give them a ring and find out what they are doing.0 -

Hi and welcome
Unfortunately we have not got a clue on how long the JR decision is going to take, even if the decision have already been made, its a matter of waiting for then this is announced which can take some time.
However, as you dealt with your case with a claims company they should keep you informed, so keep at them for some answers.
When was the last time you heard from the company?
Besides that though, it is normally 8 weeks.
Keep at them, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
