LOL, me mis-reading:D.
Good one anyway.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Having read all the success stories, I went through all the old paperwork and statements and wrote to 10 banks and credit card suppliers. Many of the loan and cards have not been used for several years and are clear. What had I got to lose. After 2 weeks had an offer of a goodwill gesture from HFC, who had aquired my Beneficial Bank account, for £352-77, which I have asked them to reconsider. And this morning in the post a cheque for £560-75 from Santander for my Debenham's store card, refunding all PPI and interest. I really can't believe it. Paying it straight off a card.
Looking at all this has really made me realize how much I must have paid in PPI over the years, without seeing how little benefit I would ever receive from it. You think at the time they are acting in your best interest but without it would probably have been debt free some time ago!0 -

Well done on the compensation. Hopefully they will think twice on dragging their heels. They all like taking our money but not giving it back. Good for you.:beer:Footiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!
