No, all boxes a re unticked.

If you untick it, does the text on the right side not remain the same?

Re Three, can I switch my existing number from normal 321 to this tariff?

    No. It changes.

    Perhaps a Javascrip error?

Unlikely. But you could go to the hassle of porting out and back in again. :)

Pre-ticked boxes for additional services were banned several years ago, weren't they?

This new offer from Three seems to blow Freeddompop clean out of the water for low data users of phablets/mifis/tablets with 3g:

And if you go over 200MB, I believe that £5 for 500MB with 150MB extra free thrown in may be the possible minimum topup.

    Odd...
For me it is £5.96 - with all boxes ticked while £1.99+£0.99+£0.99=£3.97, so there is £1.99 hidden somewhere that remains if I untick all three boxes...

The only difference I see from your picture is Micro SIM instead of Nano*.

Why? Is it not 200Mb at Three and the same 200 at FrPop? Unless 200 free 'voice' minutes use the data allowance, I don't see why Three's package is better. What am I missing again?

*ETA: I checked and, indeed, it is different for Nano. Does it make any sense that there is some monthly fee for a Micro SIM?

ETA1: repeated again for Micro, and it's fine this time.

Three blows it out of the water (it's 4G too BTW) for non-phone devices because it's going to be SIMPLE. Just read the pages of this thread to see how much confusion is involved in dealing with unreliable Freedompop. We already have Three SIMs in the family here so an additional bonus of not having to divulge personal details and card details to a less than blue chip organization.

Fpop is going to have to up it's game now.

I am ordering a sim with the most basic free package without any free trials.
£7 for activation and shipping is a little over the top, but I can live with this.

However, on the payment page it says:
No, I don't want any free service trial and don't want to authorise them to charge me.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

I've never paid anything on 2 sims. I take the free trial (didn't have to pay the £1.99) and then within 30 days change to the basic package, which is free with 200mb/200mins/200 texts. I also never download the app and only use this sim for data. The account is very difficult to navigate (especially when you have more than one sim) but if the 200 package is sufficient you can simply change the package/bundle. That's not too difficult on mine and requires no unticking of any boxes.

On your account settings you should be able to untick the box which takes an automatic payment though. If you wait they will probably offer another sim without initial payment or activation charges (that's why I ordered another when they had another temporary offer).

As you know,. I don't like to pay anything.
  • Can you only send Texts when you have 3G or4G?

I take it that texts are sent via internet not phone signal?

    I need some advice, please...

When ordering a free SIM I was offered a second free one and agreed.
Now I received them, each with some "Free Trial" for a month.

However, I can see only one in my account.
Do I have to see both? If so, what can I do to add/see the second one?

You should be able to see both accounts.

For me, there's a drop down menu at the top of the account page that allows me to switch between accounts.
