Hi all
Complete disarray herewent out leaving the house a tip and didn't get home till late. Most of the clearance involved chucking stuff in the conservatory- so I could sweep the LR rug. Then I ironed just enough uniform for tomorrow, made some snacks for the taster session at slimming club, did my packup and I'm now sat here with dye on my hair...
Nice afternoon out with group of friends - although there is always one that makes me feel uncomfortable. Sort of a friend of a friend but a bit creepyhe sent me a fb friend request a few months ago which I stupidly accepted (I had misgivings then) and I can see he's sent me a private message which I really don't want to open. I ought to delete him - but feels awkward when we have mutual friends
gah.
Anyhoo - onwards and upwards. I shall go rinse my hair (minus some grey, I hope) then I'll start the new list off

Hi all
Wow some great work going on around here! For those who think some of us are talking in riddles we have got hooked on the book "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying" by Marie Kondo. She is a Japanese lady who has got some very unique ideas about de-cluttering and re-organising your home. Some of her ideas are a bit bonkers but the underlying principle is that if you get rid of stuff that you dont love and dont need life will be a lot easier and you will feel a lot happier. It does all go hand in hand with many of the flylady principles.
Welcome along takingcontrol and thanks for the kind words. I suppose I do like this house, I just want to move it 5 miles away then I would be happy!
I have sorted some tax work that I agreed to do and I am so glad its out of the way. Our bedroom is half de-cluttered and probably more of a mess than when I started! Should have a bit of time this week to get some flying done but I need to get DS out of the house, he is really down at the moment.0 -

Thank you all for the welcome :j Just a quick post as DD2 wants her laptop back!
I didnt manage to do what I set out to do Sunday as i got distracted by Marie Kondo but I DID sort my clothes :j
They were all washed, ironed and folded and put away- i only managed to get rid of 2 items as each item (not got that many) had a "spark of joy"!!!
I have a little pride when i go in my wardrobe - sad or what!
Today I have cleaned kitchen after dinner, put on a wash and will put on maiden and will do packed lunch tonight ready for tomorrow. It doesnt sound like i have achieved a lot tonight does it? I will do one more job that I missed out yesterday - hoover upstairs and thats my lot as I was up today since 5am (cat wanted to play)!! and i have done a full day's work
Hope to chat more when i can get peace with the laptop :rotfl:0
