Not really achieved a lot today.
Nipped round mils, sorted something financial out for her then helped her with her wardrobe clearance - didn't seem to clear much but it has resulted in 6 bags I need to take to the Cs or put in the clothes bank.
Did paid stuff, got asked to make another bird and flower as one of the staff loved them and wants to take them home. LOL (easily pleased)
Fed Dh and returned him to work
Made a start on a bird, nipped over to order some wedding glass of a neighbours daughter, dropped off some card making stuff I don't want and had a natter. Nipped shops in process of feeding boys as Ds1 is out at a concert tonight and Ds2 thinks he's been starved.

Might go and see mad max over the weekend as Dh and the boys realllllly want to.
Got to do some gardening at mils over the weekend and DD2 plus fella and DGS are round. Need to wrap her fella pressie and write a card for tomorrow's birthday
Washing should be dry so I'll fetch that in as well.

    Have a good weekend all

    Edit.
Boddy, I'm so sorry to hear about Ozzie:(

Evening all. Sending hugs to those that need them x
Thank you for all good luck vibes. I'm petrified, I'm not sure what possessed me to apply, I haven't left the house alone in months. Maybe, even if I don't get anywhere near getting it, it might do me some good. It's for tesco clothhing, I've always done care work.

The boys are not my friends, I've pulled all their toys into middle of the room for them to sort tomorrow if ds2 is better. I forgot to fetch the bedding in and now it's damp, so looks like sleeping bags until dh can look at the dryer (they have spare bedding but only want the one that's damp on).

Will try to catch up on some of the list over the weekend so it's not such a shock next week.

Thanks everyone. I really thought he would be back home with me. Late test results yesterday showed he had diabetes. He was also being treat for cystitis. I had been up all night on Tuesday with him. It was a very hard decision but I had to do what was best for him. He was such a special cat and it's only now I've realised how many people he touched with my updates. The house is so empty without him.

You have absolutely nothing to lose. Thats what I kept telling myself when I applied for my current job. Go in there with your head held high and remember that you can learn to do this just as well as anyone else.

Remind us the night before the interview and we will all be rooting for you.

Sorry about the cat Boddy very sad for you.

I am trying really hard to declutter. I have done all the easy stuff and I really need to keep going at it. I know that its a worthwhile exercise but it doesnt always come naturally to me, I can be a bit sentimental about things.

    (((Hugs))) boddy

My 8 Germans have arrived and all safely dispatched to their hosts. The one who is staying with us for the weekend is very nice. DH went off to wargames club this evening, so I took her for a walk up the Rock Houses hill. She'd never seen a bluebell wood before - it smelt wonderful after a gentle shower of rain :)

I managed to do some cooking and cleaning this morning so the house looks OK. Didn't touch the study, but I've got most of next week to do that.

Good luck with the interview, Charlie (sorry, I can't call you CY because Cycling Yorkie was on this thread before you, and it will muddle my brain) - just be determined to enjoy the experience and learn from it, whatever the outcome.
Sounds like your work is going well too, Narc0. Flylady shortlisting vibes for you.
Glad the BayE sales are going well, pigpen and kazw.
Elastic, I'm glad somebody else apart from me hasn't done a lot of flying this week!
HB, I agree with you about Olive Cooke - very sad. Well done to your canine companion.

Goodnight all - we've got an early start tomorrow and I shall need my wits about me all day.

Boddy so sorry your ginger one is no longer here, you loved him so much and he knew it x

Charlie, I too applied for a job a couple of weeks ago, wasn't going to, haven't worked in an office for 21 years! Believe it or not they offered me the job (despite not being able to do all of the IT test!). I hope you have the same luck but if you do not, there is something out there just right for you.

Tomorrow I shall attempt to fly, the house is a mess!

Hugs to everyone needing them - especially Boddy.x

    Catch up later.

PS the house feels so lovely without all this carp - in the car boot currently - think I may just take the remainder to ch shop on way home! but that mean I'll have to pack it well before leaving rather than my usual stuff it all in wherever and sort out later! Wish me luck - need the cash for our next weekend at DS's!!
