  • Morning everyone - now let's not "fall out" no matter how amicably over who is "do do do doing" the kondo!!

I think I am the one at fault here and probably used the word incorrectly in my post - but I too have been folding things Kondo style and also de-cluttering things that I don't love at the same time! I am sure we should be able to fly and kondo simultaneously as we are women and able to multi-task!!

Narco have you looked round St Andrews in Fife as I don't remember many midges in that area when we used to go regularly - or are you wanting mountains / west coast?

Welcome to newbies - nice to see you on here Dusty - am reading the Konmarie thread for ideas for my next steps but not posting.

Physio appt went well and decluttered 45 squid! - need to go again next week but much better and I am being good and doing my exercises!! and that's a first!

    Plan for today
Boil eggs for salad lunch - done
    Washer and dryer on
Double HHI - at 9 if anyone wants to join in?
    Paperwork sort HH
Dust and hoover right through - must put vac on charge first

Must get on so much to do and so little time!!

Have a great day everyone. xx

Thank you, I think I'm working to the same method as you, merging the two together a kind of flyondo if you will.
Unjoyful stuff is leaving, wether it's being kondoed decluttered or whatever it's going. It is a loooooong process as there is so much of it, what is staying I'm finding keeps tidier if I fold or store it kondo style, think the fact it's different is a signal to the others mum means business so don't mess!!!
I just want some clutter gone and the house easier to keep clean, years ago when I stated flying either valli dusty or JJ commented if things didn't have a home they would float as clutter and always look out of place because they didn't have one. I'm at the stage where I want things to have a place so it looks neat and tidy and when I ask some else to put something away they know what to do with it and not just to stick it anywhere.

Got to nip round mils now. 'See' you later

ALL HAIL!! PIGGERS, QUEEN OF SNOT!!

    I feel pap today..

In other news Hugs for Boddy, r.i.p. sweet furbaby, r.i.p. B.B. King who passed aged 89, the music world has lost a great man.

    WM filled but not on.

Having a cuppa then I might actually get my derriere in gear and do something productive.. I'm thinking of flinging the gubbins from the cupboard in the front room.. I'm sure 90% of the contents can be relegated to the bin!! then the gubbins from the top can go in = flat surface. I'm slowly getting through all the cupboards and drawers.. at a half dead snails pace but it's the right direction.

Good morning all. I cannot thank you all enough, the look on dhs face as it's so close to 100 likes. Really sorry if you get bombarded with posts that are no use to you. Think I might get him to look at some competition to say thank you, but not quiet sure how they work. I can't do individual replies as on my phone, but will catch up later. Hope everyone is well.
I didn't get much else done yesterday afternoon, went th dh to measure a garden, collected kids, made tea and then made the pop from charlie and the chocolate factory for the girls school projects.
This morning I've realised my dinner is still in the microwave as I was so busy sorting kids and washing is still on the line.
I've washed a load of pots and put under ware in dryer till it went bang, dh will have to look at it later.

ds2 has got up being sick and is now asleep on the sofa. As it's children's rooms I think I might tackle the boys first, it's bad but not as bad as the girls room. First Iwill switch washing on line and sweep through downstairs.

    Morning all,

DW has been on twice, cat litters have been changed, bathroom floor swept, had a chat on the phone and the window cleaners been. I then walked down the town to pay the rent, just got back.
Kiwi the chameleon is being a pain the b*tt about taking her medicine, don't blame her to be honest. DD1 not happy than I've flatly refused to do it at the weekend so she can go to the boyfriend's, so she's decided that she'll have to drive back every morning and evening to do it. Why she doesn't just stay here is beyond me, probably cos I have no room for the boyfriend as DD2 is here.
I'm waiting to see if I hear from my friend today. Getting fed up of people making plans with me then cancelling  and people wonder why I gave up going out :(
My tummy's just reminded me I haven't eaten so I'm going to grab something before I do anything else.
I've decided to write a new Toot's list today as I can't find my original :o

Elasticmoney- Hope next week is a bit less hectic for you.
Pigpen- He's a 100, you are fantastic! Thank you to all the flyladies and their friends.
Frizzle- well done to your ds. My girls are so missing their lessons.

Ive been busy in the boys room. Swept through downstairs. washed pots. Washing is waiting to go out but I'm waiting for dh starter pack to arrive and ds nappies are due today. Can guarantee they will knock on door as soon as I go out. Having lunch with ds and will start pulling things out from under their bed.

I've had a phone call... I have an interview on Wednesday! I've never had an interview before, as I had done work experience at my old work I started straight away, I'm feeling really sick and scared. I haven't worked in 11 years so have no references or anything.

DH pack has just arrived. Going to finish my coffee and start under the bed (theres a lot of cobwebs under there:o)
