I'm calling you stupid because you are failing to see that the OP agreed to the terms of the deal themselves without any coercion from the dealer. Everyone else seems to agree that the dealer hasn't done anything wrong. I am simply using capitals to highlight the salient point which you seem to gloss over.0

I am not glossing over any of your points I'm fed up of repeating myself. But I'll say it one more time, from the facts we have the dealer put a higher price on the receipt than was displayed on the car. How on earth can that be right?0

Most people who have posted in the thread more like. Apart from the OP you seem to be the only one who believes they have a valid complaint.Everyone else doesn't agree that the dealer hasn't done anything wrong, it's just a handful of people on this forum.
And for the record the dealer isn't obliged to sell at the advertised price. The sticker price is merely an invitation to treat, simple as that. Negotiations were conducted, an offer was made and accepted by the OP.0

Yes most people who have posted in this thread, which is not lot of people.
I am fully aware of the legal position. But in the real world when you buy a car you expect to start your negotiations from the screen price not some made up figure.0

One more time in case you haven't understood this.
The car was advertised and a price including the trade in was done. The net price agreed is shown on the invoice and that is what the op has been asked to pay.
 Where's your problem with that?0

You know my problem with that, the calculations started from an inflated screen price. One more time in case you haven't understood this.

We don't even know if the OP went on to buy at this price or if the seller corrected his calculation.0
