halloumi cheese cut into thick slices - kids call it squeaky cheese (when you eat it you hear it)

bananas baked in foil then split open and chocolate buttons poked in so they melt.

    Sorry for your loss.

We like to stuff large mushrooms with grated cheese and garlic ( we use lazy garlic at this time of year). Cook on the barbie with the garlic and cheese uppermost untill soft and sqidgey with the cheese melted.....great with the snorkers and burgers etc.

    Hope it goes well.

bought some smartprice chicken breast fillets from asda last week , cut them up and marinaded them in Paul Newmans Balsamic dressing before wrapping in foil and cooking. Delicious - ate the leftovers cold and sliced thin with salad next day. You got a reasonable weight for I think £3.99 - which were just odd shapes. I know they weren't free range but we can't all afford that.

Thanks for those ill make a note

Today at work someone told me the best way to do ribs is to cook them for a few hours in the slow cooker in about an inch of water, then let them cool normally, when it comes to the bbq just coat them in a sauce and cook literally for a few mins and the meat just falls off them not making them as chewy which sounds like a winner to me x

yep, can confirm that is THE ONLY way to do ribs. They are far too chewy if just done on the BBQ alone, but slow cooked first then barbied they are absolutely gorgeous! Coat them in a sticky rib BBQ sauce for the best results :)

    so sorry for your loss.

    for a cheap bbq ....
boil a saucepan of roughly chopped potatoes in their skins,
when cooked sprinkle garlic salt/herbs over- add butter to pan and toss gently
before serving sprinkle with grated cheese and re-heat
    they taste fab,
    also
garlic mayo..... get cheapy mayo and add chopped garlic (I buy ready chopped frozen garlic from Morrisons £99p)
leave overnight in fridge and stir occasionally.
make your own chunky coleslaw with roughly chopped onions, cabbage, carrots and cheap mayo, beats shop bought stuff and very popular.
Hope you have a lovely time and the weathers good for you x
