Its basically a ferry not a cruise ship.
I think quite a few of us have been trying to point this out gently to people who seem to have blown it out of all proportion just because it uses the F-word ("free").
most people ended up at macdonalds as it was the only place they spoke English
I find that very hard to believe - Most Norwegians can speak better English than most of us! But then, I do find this bit may give a clue to the real reason:
went on one of these with the sun newspaper...
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.

Does anyone know if they provide towels please?
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

Yes they do, but not that big - probs bath towel size, but not the big bath sheets like you get in some hotels.

They were not replaced after the first night, but if you don't get them too wet, you should be o.k.

I'm sure you could ask for more if required - we had to ask for 2 extra pillows as only one each provided, and they were brought in about 10 seconds!

LOL - by the sounds of it this cruise will be an MSE get-together so if you see a large scots lady with half neon pink hair and possibly a slight green tint to her skin say hi :D

Also please tell me more about this kettle egg-boiling - sounds great to me and never thought of it before - thanks.

PS - Hi to everyone, first time poster, long time reader :)
Here is a tip for the scottish lady about the kettle egg boiling scheme.............first borrow 2 eggs............or if you are from liverpool.............first ***** 2 eggs

If the windows opened it wouldn't be the towels hanging out to dry, it would be hubby (or at least his socks!!)
