  • Keep up the fab work - and it is a milestone - you're into the next number down!
  • Today I have taken a couple of bags to the local cash4clothes. Got £3.50 so put that straight into my holiday savings x

  • 6 hours overtime today :A

My daughter desperately wants an iPhone 5s because 'everyone' has one ;) she currently is using an old iPhone 4 of mine on a sim only. Now I could a) be hard and say no or b) get myself an iPhone 6 and give her my 5s. Now I'm not very good at option a so was thinking of doing option b. Anyway today I have decided to put my sim in the old 4 and give her the 5s. No points scored for giving in but I've given myself brownie points for narrowly avoiding another phone contract  this is progress. As long as I have a perfectly functioning useful phone, I am not at all bothered about the 'latest' tech.

    I am so on board!

  • Wow - that is extremely kind of you...
  • Have had some stuff listed on gumtree but had no success (despite plenty of replies asking when they can collect??). I was put off eBay a long while ago because too many buyers don't read the description of faults/marks etc and then complain and want their money back when they see the well used item blah blah blah. I found it too stressful worrying there was too much potential for comeback. However having been messed around too much with gumtree I have now decided to list some of it with eBay. May live to regret this but i need to declutter a bit and make some extra cash for my holiday. Lets see how it turns out x

  • Hiya

Littley is crazing me for a new phone too but seeing as she forgets to charge the one she has atm and never uses it I don't see the point in letting her. Her argument is that if she had an iPhone she'd use it more. Yeah like that's a winning case lol! I think you've probably made the right decision as there's no need to get a new phone unless you really need to.

Hope ebay worked for you! :) xx

  • Got free parking at work again this week :j so £1.25 into Florida savings.

Step 1 of reusing old iPhone 4 complete - had to buy a little plastic thing to convert my little sim to a slightly bigger one (99p) and now waiting for a payg sim to arrive for dd.

Have had one eBay bid so far - fingers crossed x

  • Had a lovely bank holiday day out with the family to a country park and beach. Car park machine was broken so free parking and lunch and petrol paid for by husband out of his spending money. Petrol would usually come out of our joint account so I have put £10 into the Florida account from this saving :j

Today we are going to a free  outside swimming pool! I will participate from dry land and the girls will wear wetsuits but the sun is shining so it should be ok lol!

Last full day of holidays :(
