Well done to all you walkers.
Walking is so not my thing due to my disability but have had a great day today as managed some yoga & some aqua fit.So yah me!! Sorry, but that is so a big deal for me!:o
:j :j Well done beanie and no need to say sorry either!Aqua fit is one of the best forms of exercise, I'm pleased that you find one some that suit you :T ...
...Thank you and well done Lois for the chart again (what a task!):T and  to hollyh as SOTW and Skint_Catt SOTC. huge well dones to all you who met the challenge and those that fought manfully to achieve it! :j :j It really is a great incentive...
...Thanks for the kind words re the 'poem' katiepcI remembered this morning that I meant to thank you for the exercise tip yesterday (got all muddled up!) and you're right it is so easy to do when cleaning your teeth, these 2 minutes add up to a lot of exercise in a year, and what do we do normally? Just stare a the wall/basin/obscured window!!!
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Yay!!!!
I lost 0.5lbs ...not a great deal but considering I've been on holiday with Ice cream and other naughty treats I'm well chuffed especially as I now get my long-awaited sticker!!!! :j)
Only another 7lbs to go before I get another one!! Wooo!!
Thats three weeks of small losses though so I really must get back on track and put a bit more effort in. Hopefully going back to the gym will kickstart it.0 -

Not so much glee as complete bouncing insanity....(luckily no one in the office to witness this...)0 -
I wrote really long post last night and it appears to have gone
Oh well, the long and short was to congratulate all the losers and especially those who have displayed their photos, you all look fabulous. Bindi did you lose all that weight following the Cambridge diet, it certainly seems to have worked wonders, you look great.
I came on last night especially to post a note to Bails to let her know that I had gone for a run. If it hadnt been for your words of encouragement I would no doubt have sat on my [STRIKE]fat[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]large[/STRIKE] soon to be skinny !!! and not gone, especially as DH had to work late and was unable to come with me. Anyway, I plucked up the courage and went on my own and thought about your words the whole way round! Thanks again :T
DS and DD went back to school today :j In some ways 8 weeks has flown by (over here they finish at end of June ) and in other ways its dragged. At least it gets me back into a proper routine, no more going out for tea and buns, icecreams etc I wasnt always good at resisting.
Jumped on the scales this morning - shock gasp horror, yes midweek, the damn things still say the same weight. I am going to have to resort to cutting off some part of me. SIL-to be has been on arranging bridesmaid fitting next week so I am going to have to starve myself! Meant to be going to friends tomorrow for chinese and I have already rung ahead to say I will not be eating :A Am going to see Snow Patrol in concert on Saturday night, cant wait!
How are all of you lovely peeps today?0 -

Well done Honey, that's brilliant! I'm really proud of you (why does this always sound so patronising? Obviously not meant that way at all). How did it go? Did you find it much harder than when you're with DH? So chuffed for you, it's almost like I went myself!:D Hey, maybe as I've been for a phantom run (like a phantom pregnancy) maybe I'll have had a phantom weight loss too? Oh, that won't really be any good though will it, DOH!
BTW, where are you? I'd like to move there anyway if the kids (and therefore I) would get 8 weeks holiday! Please, please say Scotland, I'd so love to move there (in fact nearly bought a house up there before I met my very Southern boyfriend) xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Hey everyone, if you haven't tried Martin's new Demotivator tool then you should, it's ace!
As a test I put in that I buy a bar of chocolate every work day and it calculated that I would spend £5625 on them over my working life!!!! Think what I could do with that money!! When I was trying to lose weight before, I did have a pot where I put the price of the chocolate bar I was tempted to eat but I had no idea just how much I could actually save! I'm going to give this a go again, anyone want to join me? Doesn't have to be chocolate, prob best to pick one thing that you often succumb to.
Have a go with all your frivolous spending, especially food stuff and see how much you could save yourself! It's on the homepage if you haven't spotted it already.
(It also tells you how much you need to work to pay for it, if you need extra incentive!)The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
