Sorry but I'm feeling a bit off this evening and need some cheering up. I've just realised that I went over my points last night and I'm a bit. sadd0001.gif about it. I know that 1 or 2 points in one day won't make a huge difference, but I was also TERRIBLE on Monday night too, I've got a day at my brother's this saturday where I can control what I drink, but not what I'm eating (cos I don't know what he's making) and a kiddies birthday party on Friday (rice crispie buns are my favourite).

....I just need a shove out of the dumps (Petrichor - there's a challenge for you!).

I think I'll take a run across to Maplin's and see what kind of pedometers they have there. The 10k steps challenge is really starting to appeal to me.

    See you all later!

Oh delly not-tagged-smiley-14571.gif I think that there must be a general malaise about at the moment; you don't need a shove but a little tlc and these wise words from ajax are spot on,

.....you know how it is delly. Be good where you can, cut down the points by a few on the non-important days, skimp where you can on the semi-important days, and play like a good thing on the really important days. You'll be good, you want the result too much to ruin it. It will make more sense when the time is here, you'll plan it all out.

..don't tell him as he'll get a big head, but he does come up with some very sensible stuff...

...I got my new pedometer and true to DD's style she spent £9.99 on one from Boots that only counts the steps, but it does have a strong clip and that's what I needed as the other one kept flying off, no wonder it broke :rotfl: ...last night I was watching the tennis on 2 TVs, Henman on one (he won by the way!!) and Rafa on the other and during those two matches I clocked up 3,637 steps going from room to room :rotfl: ...So I hope you get one and give it a go, it really is quite addictive (I was even running on the spot whilst watching the TVs :o )...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

...grannynise how many points does one get for coming up with the suggestion of chatting up an ex-SW member on this forum, offering him more points than you gave Bails, pet and BB and sending him a SAE-jiffy with instructions on where to send said books (he's done with them, and will even rip his personal crap out of the back)?

Ajaxgeezer all the points in the world! What an exceptionally kind thought. If you could pm me your address I will have that SAE jiffy bag in the post tomorrow. [STRIKE]And if you ever need the books back[/STRIKE] Obviously you will never need the booklets again (unlike weakwilled grannynise) FOR YOURSELF but if you need them for anyone else I could always return them. Would be fascinating to see your personal crap too, so long as you're being metaphorical. I have no real wish to see your actual, I'm not that strange Gillian woman on the telly.

If I could do proprer smilies I'd be sending you many many stickers.:T :T

ARRGGH! Just wrote a long post and lost it - this time it was definitely human error! Will post again later but in the meantime

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BB, hope you're feeling a little better and have made it to London. Thinking of you on your special day xx

..... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: no, the crap will be omitted (metaphorical and physical). I need all my weights for when I finally get around to putting them onto efrieze's cool spreadsheet so will just rip the back 2 pages out of the book. It's no trouble, me and MrsA had a book each so if one or both of us ever does get bored of WW and follow SW again then we can easily live with one book - although to be honest it's engrained, which is why we got bored of it I guess.

Just let me double check that they have not been thrown away by my better half - I'm 99% sure they haven't, and I'll PM you in the morning.

About those points - I want one of those clauses in the contract like wot the footballers have, that if anyone ever gets more points than me, I get automatically upgraded to the same amount.

...hmm.. all you doubting Thomases are starting to make me wonder now. Maybe it's just because I don't want kids so am a bit topsy-turvy in my thinking.
