PS Can anyone tell me how to quote 2 people in one reply so don't keep hogging the page with individual replies (complete with long signatures) to each?

Open the thread in two separate windows, start a reply message in one of them, then copy and paste from the post you want in the other one.

    Hi everyone,

Just reporting back on my weigh in - maintained this week. I'm fine with that since I went off the rails on Saturday and Sunday. I'm thinking that maybe saving my points for a blow out at the weekend might not be such a bad idea especially since my WI is Monday nights.

Ah welll, day 1 again tomorrow!.

Happy birthday beanielou hope you had a wonderful day - and thanks for your lovely poem and letting us know Petrichor

Vickyj - love the idea of your top 2 favourite meals. I keep track of my points on a teeny tiny spiral bound notebook and have the points value of my favourite meals saved on that..

I guess my top 2 would be:

    1. spicy pasta bake 6 points (100g quorn mince and a large portion of pasta)
by the way, this recipie is on the recipie thread - link on the first post
    2. HM chicken curry 3 points (medium chicken breast & mango chutney are the only ingredients with points values) served with 100g oven chips (2 1/2 points)

What about all those other WW out there. ???? Give us some inspiration!

Just got back from my weekly WW weigh in and have lost 4.5lbs :j
I'm so thrilled as I thought 2.5lbs last week was not fantastic for a first week.
But 7lbs in two weeks Woo Hoo!!!!
No weigh in next week as I'm off to Texas for a week, I hope I remember how good this feels to keep me portion aware and on track.
I'm sure this site is a big help to me so thanks guys for helping :T

I also started the 10K a day walking club... average since I started 6 days ago 10030!!

    Raphael the recipie is here.

The reason why this is called Sandra's curry sauce is because Sandra is the cook at my son's creche. I wanted to make sure I was making a curry he'd eat (he's 22 months old) at home. It just so happens it's really low in points too. You could substitute the chicken for quorn and save a load of points or even just have it with a load of vegetables.

It tastes more like a chinese curry than an indian curry, but is still yummy. The only other advice I have about this one is to keep an eye on the quantities of liquid you add. Sandra never gave me precise amounts to make it up, you just have to guess.

    I hope you enjoy it.

First week of the diet proper and I have put on 2.5 pounds! The stress has made me do my usual don't eat thing and I pile the pounds on  - something to do with the steroids I guess.

Anyhow! I am planning on losing at least a pound a week for the 5 week challenge! Even better would be 1.5 pounds per week! Wish me luck folks I am going to need it :rotfl:

starlight did you know it's on special offer in Tesco at the minute. - I think it's 2 for £1.20 or something like that! I bought 4 loaves and shoved 3 in the freezer cos it's not always there when I go looking for it.

Oh thats good to know!! I must try and get a couple... its not the easiest to find

Well done saversam what a brilliant result... I hope that more than makes up for last week :)
  • Another weigh in over lol Lost 3lbs this week :) It was hovering between 3 and 4 but I decided to play safe. Im really delighted and feel completely back on track after my plateau! I cant believe my 100lb mark is just around the corner... only 5 more lbs to go

Today was my wi at my doctors, I go once a month just for a weigh in and hes SO incredibly supportive, hes lovely :) Ive lost 12lbs since the last time I went to see him 6 weeks ago so not a bad result.

Not expecting too much next week as Im off for a nice romantic night away in a rather posh hotel tomorrow night and I have a big family do on Sunday. Ill try and save points every other day tho, and keep up the water drinking :)

Hope everyone else is having a good week :)
