Sure it's 4lb gone but a challenge is only a challenge if there's an end result, and falling short of a challenge is another term for failure.
Ergo, sulking and beating is valid.
It wasn't a given for that to come off this week. Whilst it might have been a fresh weight gain, you still had to be good to lose it this week and more. Bails is right about that slapping with the wet fish. You have lost 5lbs this week or rather, over the last 2 weeks, you have lost a net 2lbs and had an amazing weekend of overindulgences. That is a very very good achievement. Don't be so down. Goodness me!0 -
I stayed the same this week. Not so disappointed as I think the scales were not nice to me this week cos I ate a big bbq yesterday and i always try to avoid heavy meals the day before WI.0

Your birthday is only one day though, Ajax or a weekend at most, and besides what better present to yourself than to be healthier and fitter (sorry, that sounds cringey but you know what I mean!). If you don't pull yourself together and give us a smile soon, I'll be heading to the Midlands with a truckful of wet fish...
Efrieze, well done on being so philosophical about your maintain, it can be so hard to do sometimes. Good luck this week and with that positive attitude I'm sure you'll see a loss. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Morning All you lovely people
Have you missed me? Did you pine away for me?
Got back to Blightly 4.30am on Friday, the holiday was really good, lots of highs and lows, weather was great as was the coffee, scrabble oppertunites were limited.
Eating wise I did enjoy myself, I wont deny that, there is a gain, will venture to Boots tomorrow to find out the exact gain, but I am back in the gym trying to get back to the pre holiday weight. Did go for a walk every day, normally between a mile and two mile
Just going to plough on through the work emails, (143 of them!) so back laterProud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

I was just wondering if there was antyhing wrong with having HM pasta bol wiht toms, peppers, onions and (drained off of fat) mince beef?
Also, do we have any recipe ideas for vegetables? Eating them boiled makes me sick."Don't cry, Don't Raise your Eye

I like roasted veg with a bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar....
You could also try them stir-fried or raw dipped in hummus or some other dip...
I'm ok with boiled veg so long as I don't over cook them, crunchy is definately nicer than mushy...don't know if steaming them would make them more appealing0 -

I couldn't possibly take the words out of his mouth (again!)... I'm sure he'll be along soon once he's stopped sulking about his 5lb loss!!!!The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
