Bails - consider yourself both knighted and canonised. Sounds like quite a journey - maybe you should invest in some earplugs before the next one!
Well, that is the freezer stocked up with some goodies.:D Got a whole pile of fruit at rock bottom price in Asda yesterday (on a whoops due to date but still fine) :j so have made lots of nice slimming smoothie mixes then used them to make little smoothie ice lollies to keep me away from the magnums that are in there:rolleyes:. Have 24 little icelollies from fruit that cost me about 80p in total (4 peaches for 20p, 2 mangoes at 10p each, punnet plums for 10p etc)
Now off to make some soup to freeze too (using the carrots, curly kale and acbbage that were on the whoops aisle too).
What a nice Money Saving/Weight Saving start to the week:D

Stick with it though - if you are really tired can you take a nice relaxing bath or put your feet up in the garden ... just to keep you occupied and away from the fridge.
I, too have hit my heaviest weight, I know how demotivating it is. Just see if you can do one positive thing today (i.e. healthy choice for dinner/supper) and then build on it tomorrow
take care

Thanks so much TC, just the boost I needed! Sorry to hear you're in the same boat as me but you are juggling so much at the mo that I think you're amazing just to be on here. The weight loss will come for us both in time, for now logging on is a result I reckon!
I did have a healthy low GL brekky this morning (despite the wafting bacon and eggs from next door ) but have munched 2 bits of Toblerone in an effort to stay awake during this morning's conservatory building argument between the inlaws which we were refereeing/offering impartial advice.
I must say I am looking forward to getting home and having some space, although it will mean leaving my lovely boyfriend behind
Hope you have a good day too xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

i have always had toast for breakfast and if im honest could easily munch my way through half a loaf of bread a day if i really wanted toobut now i have no clue what to eat as even though im counting points i would like to reduce my bread intake if possible even down to not having ANY some days.
i have bought some cn.cornflakes and im sure i can force myself to eat a few of those every morning but there are only so many lunch times you can have a jkt + salad or beans on toastlol

2 main 's here WAAS - are the lunches for packing or eating at home? And can you convert ideas for your points as I have never done WW so don't know what's what.
One lunch I love is stuffed peppers - just 1/2 the pepper (make it a nice big one) and scoop out all the seeds etc, then fill with something simple you enjoy. I like cherry tomatoes halved with bits of smoked fish or sardines. Aother one would be cooked rice or cous cous mixed with a LF sauce or BBQ sauce, and perhaps a little grated LF cheese on top.
Another dead simple one is about 1.5oz (dry weight) pasta, boiled. Top with 1/2 jar Dolmio sauce which has been simmered with a selection of veg you like eg sweetcorn, onion, mushroom, carrot, peas etc. Choice unlimited.
If you like prawn Marie Rose, either with salad, mixed with cold cooked wholemeal pasta or on baked potato, try buying the LF Seafood sauce - I like Asda's - then mixing it 50/50 with natural yogurt. Actually does not taste that much weaker and reduces the fat/calories quite a lot.
Breakfasts I enjoy include egg or beans on toast, yoghurt with a little muesli stirred through it and mixed with chopped up fresh fruit, turkey rashers served with tinned or fresh grilled tomoatoes and mushrooms sauteed in a little water and stock rather than fried.
Sure loads of people can come up with heaps of other ideas too.0 -

I know what you mean about the toast. I find bread is not at all good for me - it bloats me and makes me more hungry (even though I always go for wholemeal). So, my solution, I threw away the toaster (well, freecycled it)! I find that if I have to go through the hassle of grilling the bread (which inevtiably leads to burnt toast as I always get sidetracked) then it is a good deterrant. So, now I just go for muesli (but I DO weigh as otherwise I eat way too much).
Re: Lunches. Well I'm a bit boring really. I just go for a low cal soup from waitrose (they do some really tasty ones). Or a huge bowl of crudites with hummus. One that I don't do very often - but it is lovely - a wrap filled with loads of salad and some cooked quorn peices (you could use chicken). I think there are some pretty good low cal dressings on the market you can use to dress it. Personally, as I try to avoid eggs, I just use a tiny bit of 'egg-free mayonnaise with garlic' (provamel I think)
Which reminds me - I saw an ad for fry light - with balsamic vinegar, for salads. Anyone tried it?0 -
