ooops ... been away the last week (and not because I've been so busy at the gym and eating uber-healthy salads:rotfl: )
Any tips for a 'kick start' (maybe a jolly good kick up the backside from you lot:rotfl: )
.... yeah, seriously, use that slow cooker. The time you spend filling is iss less than opening and blitzing a couple of TV dinners. With 5 minutes work in the morning you will have a healthy meal for 5 (or was it 6?) in the evening.
Slimming World does indeed have trial recipes but I think you have to register at the site.
Cooking healthily need take up no more time than cooking unhealthily. It's up to you how much you want it.0 -

... sometimes I feel like the old woman that lived in the shoe lol!
I've finally got a completion date. Maybe I should make myself a mini target to move into my new home a few pounds lighter (wouldn't want to scare the new neightbours:eek: :rotfl: )0 -

.......oooooh, you must be so excited. Maybe this can be a new broom? Throw away, de-clutter, make the new house work in a more lean way. Lean processes = lean you.
What an exciting new challenge. :T
There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children, her uterus fell out. Black Country nursery rhyme, that!0 -

In fact - my weight has just about peaked at it's highest ever.
Still havent used my new slow cooker, just finding it impossible to make time to do anything much right now.
I'm sorry guys ... I'm letting the side down.
I have the best intentions but it seems getting started is the hardest part.

Tiredy you're only letting yourself down and that's what matters most. Try and think how upset you'll be in a few weeks time when you realise that you could have been a stone or so lighter ...oh sod being nice!!... have this:rotfl: :rotfl: I hope your move goes smoothly
a new home and a new YOU

ooooh, be careful custard or the big bitey boot will come and get you. If you like I could photocopy some of SW mag pages at work next week - they have lots of nice recipes and a 7 day plan in each issue. PM me your postal address if you like.
Hello new bods hope you aren't put off by the potty mouthing, we only have occasional moments of it. I was very reassured by the advice I received about my first week or SW - or slimming winds as it can be if you aren't used to all that fruit and veg.
Newlywed I bet you will have achieved your goal for your hols. For weigh ins I always follow the advice from Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion - deduct 5lbs for your shoes.
Off to demolish a luscious looking bowl of strawberries now. OH has gone roleplaying for the whole weekend and taken all our camping stuff with him. The house looks incredibly tidy and I have nothing planned to do - what a bank holiday! laters allxx0 -

Ooh kpc, your OH hasn't gone roleplaying at Hemel Hempstead has he - my lodger is doing security there (she's 4ft 10, so I assume a lot of people dressed as dwarfs will be turning up :rotfl: ): her b-in-law runs the show.
custard: you are asking a lot of yourself: no fridge, about to move house, school hols AND you are trying to start a weight loss programme  . I think you should try try and take a few small steps pre move to get into new habbits but don't expect to start full on until you have moved. As Ajax says, get usin that slow cooker girl; It's so much quicker in the end. If money isn't a problem as you said, SW do green day recipe books too.

Oh - and add to that - my washing machine broke down last week ... 6 peoples washing to do by hand    I had to laugh - else I'd have cried. On the upside ... very nice man came out on Tues to fix it. Bliss!
I do like the sound of the 'green days' thing on SW. So - whats the best way to get started with SW - should I sign up on line? Is it pricey? Just about to get fleeced by my estate agent for fees ... so counting the pennies a bit at the mo.0
