PHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! I have finally caught up, what a mammoth task!!
Welcome Feisty Fairy (loving the name!) and everyone else who has joined or rejoined in the last week. Well done to everyone who's lost but especially well done to everyone just for being on here! Having you all around is certainly giving me an extra warm glow (especially useful after freezing my butt off -if only!- in the Pyrenees...)
Right, I'll see if I can find the energy to give you an abridged version of my earlier lost post (no doubt you'll be relieved to get the shorter version, lol!) This is now my 3rd attempt, no mean feat on this blasted French keyboard!! To the person who asked, all the keys are in a different place!!
So we headed off to the Pyrenees to escape the MiL (I know, what was I thinking??? AND this is the 2nd year in a row I've done it, despite swearing blind I wouldn't after last year! So there's no need to feel envious of my hol after all peeps!). It was a spur of the moment thang so I was completely unprepared with only a summer sleeping bag and clothes etc. The weather was ATROCIOUS, gale force winds and torrential rain, so we basically munched continually to keep warm (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it). Seriously though, it really was necessary. And a girl obviously needs a few extra biscuits with her tea to make up for disastrous weather on her August hol! (and to those of you who may have clocked my impending India trip, it will still be monsoon season there too...)
Anyway, despite eating enough for several mountain trolls and it being TOTM (sorry Ajax), I only put on the pound I lost last week so that was a result!
What I wanted to explain was my ‘plan’, as it may seem that I’m not getting anywhere. At the moment, my goal is to maintain (somewhere between 12st 3 – 12 st 6) until October – this is because I am away until then and so food is largely out of my control ie cant menu plan etc. It has taken me a very long time to accept my situation and work with it rather than fight it, and this is part of that acceptance. Not continuing to put on weight (as I have done for ages) will be a real success for me in the next few weeks. Then once October is here I will be at home and able to start losing. My goal is 2 stone and then maybe another half a stone if it feels right. I’m only 5ft 4 but I am sporty (or will be again as soon as I am well) so my ideal weight for my build is 10 st 1 – 10 st 9.
Anyway, so that’s my plan, hope my happiness with my apparent lack of weightloss makes more sense now!
Thanks to Brightonbelle I think for empathising with the energy stuff – have you been/are you ill too? Sorry, I should know these things but forgetfulness is one of my symptoms (honestly!). My OH and family are from Brighton – maybe you know my MiL??!
I also thought the air freshener story was genius too, lol! Whatever works in my book!
I’m off before I push my luck and lose this message too so have a good start to the week everyone xx

Lastly, I hope this isn't old info but I fear it may be. All the talk of Weetabix Minis has reminded me that they (a couple of weeks ago) were £1.17 a box at Tesco, or TWO BOXES FOR £2... yes, you read it right. May be worth checking out instore or online, but it has probably disappeared.
..sigh... I meant to put £2.17 a box or 2 for £2. THAT was the ridiculous offer Tesco had0 -

Anyway - Hi everyone, hope you're week is going well so far...
WELCOME Feisty Fairy - I too am an admirer of your brilliant name - and well done on the weightloss so far. You'll find loads of great help for those last few annoying targets!.
Ajax - I'm sorry you feel overwhelmed with female hormones and stuff. Since I have 4 big brothers, maybe I can be an honorary dude until Suggs comes back?Nahh -maybe not
Well done bindiboo - that's a fantastic milestone you've reached - We're all officially proud of you!
Bails I'm glad you've managed to finally post your message without killing the funny french computer.. I too made the huge and horrible mistake of going on hols with my MiL - had a massive falling out on the plane on the way home and things have only just started to thaw (the holiday was last september by the way) Just TRY to remember the next time someone suggests a family holiday again - it's like Christmas but lasting for 2 weeks.
Lois - I hope everything went ok for you today and that you're not feeling too wrung out by it all. The chart is fine - whenever you get the time. (maybe one or two of us should help Lois out once in a while??? Let us know if you'd like a bit of a break from it and I'll be happy to help, for everything you've done so far - you've been keeping the chart for us for a long time now....)
