Well done bindiboo on only losing a lb :j ...
...That lunch of yours sounds lovely ajax, sometimes I can spend ages following a recipe for dinner and get no response from the family then another time I just chuck stuff into a pan and they want it again but I can't do it because I can't remember exactly what I did:rotfl: . I've never tried Tescos own yogurts, I liked their low fat fruit fromage frais but the local store now they only stock branded ones and not their own...
...teeni and starlight I hope that you're both feeling a bit better today, poor poorly peeps:o ...
...I've just thought - Victory told us last week that she had lost some more weight and today bails does the same -is there no justice in this country????? ...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

........funny old world innit? I'm a great believer in chucking things into a pan and see what happens.0 -
Good Grief! - I go to work for a couple of hours and you're all chat - 3 pages
First things first - well done losers & maintainers, comiserations to anyone who's gained and welcome new posters and to those of you who LURK - please join us, we'd be glad of the extra input - Ajax can be too much to handle sometimes!
Ajax - to answer your question - I can over indulge on anything, but more often than not it's peanut m&m's, nachos with cheese, sweet thai chicken flavoured mccoys and cadbury's chocolate (but preferably the stuff that's made in Ireland - it's not foil seal wrapped and tastes sooo much nicer than the stuff shipped over to NI from Birmingham). Oh, and carrot cake, croissants, fruit pastilles, .... I could go on forever. There's a little shop around the corner from me (5 mins away) and I can usually get whatever I fancy up until about 10pm.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -

......pah. Brum Cadburys is REAL Cadburys. They have had a bit of rough press over the recent months so when you visit Cadburyworld they are quite give-ish with the vouchers to get you into the warehousey bit around the back where the ridiculous bargains are to be had. Examples include bags full of dozens of chocolate bars for a couple of quid, 58 (I counted them) tubes of sugar free mints for a quid, and many others. Probably not the best trhead to have said this on, but it's quite a good time to take a trip to Cadburyworld.

Not always a good idea if you want to have kids eventually - It can take YEARS for the side effects to wear off. I ought to know.......
Then again - two or three mini ajaxs' around..... shoot me now
As for chucking things in a pan - it was necessity that made me create my rice dish (as in I didn't get paid till friday and it was wednesday and I was broke) I threw in rice, onions, peppers, etc (chorizio sausage - but quorn pieces would be equally good!) vegetable stock and chilli puree..... the thing is OH loves it. It's just one of those things!
Ajax I take it you haven't ever tried Tayto crisps over here ? And if you only go as far as Co. Tyrone how do you know that Brum cadbury is better -lets look at it this way, the Guinness made in Dublin is so good that they don't export it elsewhere - the same goes with the chocolate.

HA HA, I'm loving the French stuff!! Fluent indeed - maybe in the names of delicious foods at least...:D
Speaking of which, the lads are back from tennis so I have to go already and eat lots more yummy French food - it's hard, but I'll do my best. It's stuffed tomatoes tonight - sounds healthy huh? Followed by the biggest homemade patisserie tarte you've ever seen! :rotfl:
By the way, paddled 14km today on the Dordogne (well, with a little help from the river and a lot from my OH) - feeling well pleased with myself (with the illness and all) but will have to see how the 48hr delay kicks in...
Happy Wednesday all, will chat more tomorrow or later if I'm still awake after my exploits/massive dinnerxx
