:rotfl: very funny! dh was needing cheered up as he failed his general brewers exam again!!! nothing to do with me losing a 1lb:D as if i would:rolleyes:
susie
.....well, as if. We know you better than that, you are focussed, committed, absolutely straight down the weightloss path. We know you would never even take a bite from that cheese naan. Don't we?.......
A brewers exam sounds very interesting. Is he a "junior" brewer now or is it something he wants to get into?0 -
He has been working at a distillery for about 2 years now, failed this exam twice, think this is something that they have to do, hope he is 3rd time lucky then:rotfl:
His excuse is that as he is on shifts all the time he is too tired to study:rolleyes:

Hi, I have just weighed myself and I am exactly the same as last week. (I did weigh 1lb less when I got weighed on Monday). I went to the gym yesterday but as I can only manage 5 minutes (max) on the treadmill on its slowest setting I think Greater measures are required. Yesterdays' newspapers with discussion about waist measurements got both me and DD worried. We are going to do this weight loss thing together and try to stop eating same amount of food as DH and 3 x DSs. We are going to put £1 in a pot for each lb we lose and then have a girly day out at a spa. We are on a very tight budget so we are meal planning for the whole family for the month. Yesterday we bought some smaller plates from the charity shop. Our usual dinner plates are HUGE!
Today I have hydrotherapy which always makes me very tired and hungry so I will have to be careful later.
Well done to all those who have succeeded in losing weight and also to the maintainers.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

.....beanielou, if you know why you gained then that's most of the problem solved. Accept it, move on, and most of all learn from it. DO make yourself have seven good days this week, unless you have something big and preplanned..... you are here for a reason, and you will get there. There's many a battle lost on the way to winning a war, but don't let yourself off easily.0 -

.....what a fine post. Pooh, it's good that you've decided not to try and eat the same as the menfolk around you. There is a reason that daily guideline amounts differ between men and women - nutritionists aren't stupid, and there's a difference for a reason. That may come as little comfort for girls, especially as you need:rolleyes: the chcoloate fixes more than we seem to, but thats the way it is.
Love the moneysaving on two levels - saving in a jar, and buying from the charity shop. It's how we all got here after all.
Meal planning is so excellent too, from a weightloss and MS point of view. Are you going to be a total MS Guru and do it old-style too? I'd love to see some of your meal plans if you'd be kind enough to post a sample upSome of the meal plans on here are SO inspiring (you people know who you are
)

Morning Lovely Peeps
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that I had 2 pages to catch up with :j Only half way through yet but ...
...Well done tescodealqueen :jon losing 1.5lb and ju24 for not only losing 2.5lb but for joing us as well AND saying such lovely things about us ie. ...... have lost 2 and a half pounds this week. Was hoping for a bit more but its in the right direction. Absolutely think this site is brilliant and the humour between certain persons has me laughing out loud, earning me peculiar looks from the husband. I have recomended this site to my sister, i find it much more helpful and suportive than most clubs i've tried, full of advice and tips and friendly banter. ju
I think 2.5lbs is brilliant ju :T keep it up and keep posting...
