Oh I'm sure your walk would have burnt off the pizza
I'm feeling a little bit virtuous, despite the 2 biscuits I had with my cuppa. Even though it's pretty late, I put the washing and just hung it up. This is a new one for me, as I would have use put it on and it would have stayed in the WM for 2 days and then would have had to be washed again. And I thought ahead, instead of hunting out Roo's other set of uniform, which is undoubtedly unironed. I have just smoothed his just washed one out on the radiator, where it will dry over night and not need ironing, and therefore I won't be scrabbling about in the morning, see, I'm learning!:T

Morning, in work. Managed to drop Roo at nursery on time. Teeth brushed, but hair was a bit erm wayward as couldn't find the brush!!! Anyway. His lovely clean uniform didn't need ironing either
. I managed to make MIl and May lunch for later and I managed to make myself lunch and have put a chilli in the slow cooker for tonight
. Getting there, although have eaten two cookies this morning
came into work and I could smell them!!!
Have just realised my nursery funding form is late!! Just filled it in, hopefully it will still be accepted!!!
Right best do some work
Hey Muser1, lovely to see you.0 -
Not had a good day by all accounts, all
I have eaten today is 8, yes 8! Biscuits, and some chillie!! That is bad enough, but a while ago I booked into a consultant for electrolysis hair removal, for my (pretty annoying and dark) facial hair. Now this is good and bad, it's good in the fact, I was so pleased with the results and nowhere near as expensive as I thought. Here's the good/bad but, the session as a one off (I need lots, don't get me wrong I'm not a gorilla or anything, nor am I sporting a handle bar moustache, but it's something that has bothered me for a long time, and what with hormonal changes from having my children, it has got much worse lately) anyway that being said. A one off amount I could have paid for with the money I have left in my account. But it was about 35% cheaper to block book and pay for lots of sessions (I will definitely be continuing), soooo I paid £195 on my cc, I know, I know it's terrible! But it's one of those necessary evils.....
Please forgive me. And actually, thinking about it, this month falls under a 5 week month, so I should atleast be able to pay £600 off my CC rather than £500 when I get paid at the end of the month. Feel pretty bad about it but, I guess needs must.
Anyway on a brighter note. I've been reading this thread http://365days365pounds.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/fruity-puddings.html?m=1 and I'm currently wondering if I could manage something similar....bearing in mind 3 huge food cupboard and my fridge and 2 freezers are rammed full of food... Am going to do a list of what I spend in a week/month and see what I can do budgetwise. Have already pre-empted OH coming home early and wanting BBQs, @ldi have salad potatoes and salad on offer on super 6 this week.0 -
£365 a year on food? That is insane!!! If I could make £365 last a month I would be estatic! But go for it if you think you can do it, its definately worth a try!!!Make £10 per day in May £89.29/£3100

I know, I think I am being somewhat optimistic, but I'm going to give it some thought. I am desperately trying not to eat anything, as I'm going to post my weight loss on the old style weight loss thread tomorrow, and I want it to be as much as possible to keep me motivated! So I'm in bed and I WILL NOT nip downstIrs and make myself some cheese on toast, no matter how much I want it!!0

I gave up on diet, it was adding too much stress to an already super stressful lifestyle, am hoping to get more exercise and hopefully tat will impact the weight. I have tried to reduce the food spend but its pointless my 6 yo eats only a handful of meals - so instead of completely cutting down I am trying to mke more money, although its only little bits, at the moment I am doing swagbucks, geolotto and started bounts yesterday. Seem to be cashing about a fiver a week from swagbucks and got y first five from geolotto - all go straight off credit card. Bit miffed with ebay after I managed to sell some school dresses which have supposedly never turned up - so had to refund the money :-( i have 7 things on there at the moment and have ramped up the postage so they are signed for.
I should advertise to do some bookkeeping but I dont want to be rigidly tied to it as I kind of have enough on my plate at the moment!!!Make £10 per day in May £89.29/£3100 -
I'm sure you have. These things tend to sort themselves out. Ok I've just looked and done some sums, ok absolute basic type living so nice home cooked food and baking etc, but no treats, comes in about £50 a week for all of us. Now that sounds horrendously low to Me, as I've quite often, in the past, spent twice that...... Mostly buying convenience and diet type foods!!!! Which usually go to waste. Going to stick with my £25 a week budget for now as have bulging food cupboards, and see how far that gets me. Right sleep time.0
