Have just made meatballs and pasta for dinner, at the request of Roo, who had perked up but decided to not even touch it! So have saved some of my dinner and all of his and will have it for lunch Tomorrow. This is something j would never have thought of before. I would have just binned it!! So I'm definitely thinking differently.

Hi missymoo, you are steaming ahead, well done with starting the planning, I too think by writing down your next plan of action helps..
I've recently got my head around losing some weight, I've started watching what I eat, I don't say diet I say healthier eating. By swapping less fatning food for a high fat food, making up salad I've bought cheap from lidl and storing in the fridge, means I've always got a salad box ready, use for sandwiches, filling up your plate when having jacket pots etc, I do it with grapes and kiwis too.. a little bit of chopping and its done.
Good luck I'm on board with you xxx

Am snuggled up in bed with a cuppa, pretty sure I'll be up in the night, hence the early bed time, well that and I'm lazy :)

God that must have been embarrassing but I'm sure they understood. They must appreciate how hard it is for you with the 2 little ones and husband away.
Really hope the camping trip will be lovely and relaxing, & Horray to your seeds growing!

Yay to growing seeds, boo to poorly kids. If Roo was asking for food hopefully that means he is on the mend - even if he didn't eat any. I hate when littlest is ill because I cannot get him to take anything. Even calpol. I've tried using a spoon, using a syringe and adding it to juice but he just refuses point blank. Just as well he doesn't need long term medication.

If the in-laws don't understand things get behind with poorly littlies then tough - they can make their own cuppas. We had someone come around at 5.00pm tonight - thankfully he phoned half an hour beforehand because I was sat around in my dressing gown and knickers and that was just because I wasn't going anywhere today so sat and did paperwork without getting dressed.

DH made a lovely stew today of which there is lots left over so I am going to chuck a potato in the microwave and take that to work for lunch. Healthy and money saving :)

OH will be home tonight, the house is stil a mess and have barely touched my assignment!!! Really need to do more. Have got work today so not much will get done all day. It's going to be roasting all day so wil
See if I can pop outside and sunbathe at lunchtime.
  • 5am is early! I got to work at 7 and managed to get out of the house without waking anyone! Rubbish nights sleep at OH has a cold and his coughing fits keep waking P, who then wont go back to sleep!

Oh dear mumstheword, poor you, gosh that's an early start for work!
  • I start at 7.30 everyday so I can finish at 3.30! Except Fridays when I finish at 1 - gives me a bit more time with the girls. My new job (I am one month into my 3 months notice period) I will be working 8-4 and Fridays off - yay!!! Roll on July!
