That is how the system works with criminals; the thief shows shame and remorse and receives more support than otherwise. If the criminal has no remorse the behaviour pattern continues and inevitably increases.
Yes.
I acknowledged the OP is probably dealing with theft, but merely suggested we keep things in perspective. Thinking along the lines of how we treat criminals, when we're discussing £80 going missing from a purse at home is over reacting and inappropriate in my opinion.0 -
If someone is micro budgeting then they need to either improve the situation (Ie get a job or a more paid one) or look at what they are buying
Well that's really useful, the OP comes on here asking for advice on how to stop someone stealing from their purse and you suggest she should look at getting a better paid job or adjust their living situation to accommodate the thefts...... are you insane??? How rude!!
Whether the OP is micro budgeting or not is completely irrelevant to the original post.0 -
Merlin I would believe a camera is really the only option here for you to be honest and this can be discreet without anyone knowing it is there, Place a trap of some loose change maybe a couple of pound and sit back to wait and see who has the sticky fingers.0

Being deaf is slightly different to being in a wheelchair needing someone to push me, i dont know what work place would put up with oh coming with me, to push me around and keep having to rush of to a and e with breathing attacks not forgetting all the chest infections which would amount to time of work.0 -

What rot. One simply cannot make such a statement with out caveat.
As well as people in extremis some people micro budget to further their situation or maintain it.
Some terribly wealthy people with large incomes and comparatively small outgoings 'micro budget'.
While that clearly is not op's case it shows another situation in which your submission holds no water.0 -
