Grocery spends £21.26
Sfd 6/15
Really tired after work today as I didn't sleep very well last might, no reason why just one of those things, so I think I will have a nanna nap after I have made myself a cup of coffee.
Bm on and the smell is wafting through, it's lovely!!!! I always think it's smells much nicer than it tastes.
As I made tonight's dinner yesterday, it'll only need heating up and tomorrow's lunch is made as well, so tomorrow I will make Sundays and Monday's and that will prevent me spending anything, I sometimes think I only shop for food because I like eating and I can't really afford to spend on much else, well I suppose I can if I choose but I choose not to. I'm getting to a stage where I'm really resenting letting go of any of my money!!!!! Oh no I'm getting really tight!!!!

Off on a girls' night out tonight, so no SFD, but managed to resist any other spends in work as remembered to make lunch - and more importantly, to take it as opposed to leaving it in the fridge (have done that on more than one occasion...).
Will probably be feeling a little wine-related poorliness tomorrow so hope to log another SFD then. It's the weekend, at least that's something to be thankful for:T#21 Save £12k in 2025 £16977.35/£20000

Don't give up your day job!
Here are a few things for you to ponder and consider over the next few days. You do not have to post your thoughts, but do keep a note of them somewhere safe (that won't get kondo-ed...)
1 Make a note of your passions, hobbies and new activities you would like to try. I recently tried yoga for the first time, and am thinking of having a go at cardio tennis! It's all free, so why not?
I love performing, but getting places to perform for little money isn't great.Writing doesn't earn much either, but I have a little job in publishing which already does.
2 Imagine your life 5 years from now. Debt free, please! And can I hope to hope a lot of my mortgage paid off too? And my house STILL standing? A lot of work to do.
3 Consider the following categories and write down where you are dissatisfied, or hate it, or it drives you mad. Then note down 2 realistic solutions and 2 fun alternatives.
a Job/work Eats all my time, but pays okay! I love publishing and want to make that my main job.
b Money/wealth I'd love to not need so much. I won't when the debt is gone, though!
c Home I'd love for it not to be a bit tumbledown. But I'm happy.
d Health Determined not to let that slip. I have to be strong for two.
e Spare time/play/fun Reading - it's free! Boozing- it isn't! Food, it's food and I have to eat!
3 NSDs/SFDs so far. But I have to buy kitty food now.
Off to the art gallery now for a free talk on Italian art. Why not, it's free! :money:Keep reading books!

Hi all,
Sorry I haven't really posted this month. I'm watching from the sidelines but am snowed under with uni work. I have an exam next week and my final assignment due the week after so I will have more time to post when it's all over and done with.
I'm trying to stick with meal planning and shopping lists but am not sure where I am up to with budgets. I promise I will take a proper look at them as soon as I hand in my final piece of work!0 -

Good evening,
Spend day here today, Mr Doris's bday tomorrow so bought a token gift, a bottle of wine and we are having a day out tomorrow. Bought his card a few weeks ago when I spotted one I liked, I find bday cards so expensive for what they are.
Another sale on ebay, parcels packed up and ready to post tomorrow, when we are out and about.
Have a good evening all. xx

Bagged my 4th SFD today but I know I won't have any over the weekend as I need to buy a card for my Dad on Saturday plus OH and I are going out for the day and on Sunday we are taking my Dad and his wife out for lunch for his Birthday. Aha budgeted for.
Looking good on all of the budgets so pretty pleased with that.
The main thing that has upset me about the election is that less than two thirds of the population bothered to vote. This is something that really winds me up as you can almost guarantee that the people who don't vote are those that complain loudest about the current, past and probably future governments. Sorry, rant over
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
