Found a £10 note on the floor in the canteen at work, no one nearby so I swiped it! :j

Today I am grateful for a walk in the sunshine, for the right to vote, for cuddles with dd, for wbb + mm+ ziff wanting my gubbins, for lovely lovely pupils.
Off to ponder my ponderations.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Aphidgirl well done! I need to keep an eye out from now on! Although i'm not quite over the last time i found money, it was outside the local shop, £5 note on the floor. I looked around and there was no one except me and dd, so i took it. When we got back in the car, dd said that there was a girl in the shop looking around for the money, she was a young girl, a teenager. I'd noticed her in the shop, but not what she was doing. I felt awful! I tried to find her, driving a few streets as she'd left the shop by then and i wanted to give it back, but didnt find her. I felt soooo guilty when i spent that £5! Still feel bad when i think about it!!! Shame the banks dont feel so guilty taking your money!
Anyway sfd todayvery pleased as thursday can be a spendy quite often. Only on sfd 3 though, i think.
Still here..... but working on that!0 -

Awesome roadkill find! What will you spend it on? Between my £10 find last weekend and tips this week I almost have enough to pay for my son's piano lesson for free on Saturday" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Spend free day today so that is the first one this month. Not a fantastic start but we'll get there.

Currently looking at new broadband providers because orange were a bit rude last time I phoned them. They were nasty as they thought I had just started a contract... attitude changed when I told them that it was almost finished.
As a result, we are changing providers.
We are hoping by choosing BT, they will give us £125 cash card thing and also some sort of reward from t0pc4shb4ck.
Holding fire on this at the moment. Will maybe apply tomorrow night.
One positive from Rome is that I have dropped a trouser size (I wear men's combats so it isn't a massive drop). The trousers are looser around the thighs even though they are smaller which makes me a bit pleased.
Diet definitely restarting in the hopes to improve on this.
Can't really think of much more to say to be honest. A lot going on in my head which I don't really want to write down until tomorrow night. Hoping my worst fears are simply that, just fears.
See you tomorrow after work.
Hugs to everyone.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Hey everyone, 5 SFDs for me. Hugs to everyone who needs one and well done on some great road kill so far!
Thanks, lilt for your advice - still not getting much done but it should happen tomorrow!
Petrol usually loses you an SFD doesn't it? I know I'm channeling MMM here, and cycling is making me less pro-car, but I treat it like food - it's budgeted for but still counts as a spend when I actually fill up, because my eating/driving habits can be improved to help my budget (and the planet!), and the risk of loosing an SFD is motivation to make it last as long as possible. I've never known that rule until now so that's just my take on it anyway
Speaking of cars, mine is taking ages to be fixed since someone drove into it, and I'm paying £2/day to waive the excess on the courtesy car that I've only used about four times  (seems like a good idea when you think it will only take a week, and you have just experienced first-hand that accidents do happen!). So that's £60 plus to come out of last month's unused travel budget.
Mothernerd I know you haven't signed up for this month's challenge, but please pop in and let us know your ok.
Stewby sending you well wishes that your fears are unfounded and everything is ok x

Good morning turtles. Yesterday was another NSD - I'm not managing to get the exercise in that I would like at the moment, but I am definitely going to the library later today, so that's one thing that's consistent with my values at the moment.
I know this isn't a political thread, but just wanted to say that I am very very sad about the election, and am extending hugs and cups of tea to any other turtles who might be sad as well.Bought my first house in 2014 - now, to be mortgage free!

Stewby - yay to dropping a trouser size! Well done you!
Syn - I thin I got the fuel idea from kat originally. As I share a car, I can do minimal miles myself, but have no control over the amount dh does. He is usually the one to fill it up so I'm not often in the situation of 'losing' a NSD.
Bob - yay to free piano lessons!
academia - chin up chuck. Am also off to the library v soon.
