Zara at the vets - Cruciate Ligament - surgery 01/05/15

I was confused what the x-ray had shown as cruciate damage will not show up on one ......
mmmmm if the hips look fine after FR have looked at them and the referral vets has a good rep, I'd be inclined to get it done locally.
It will be much less stressful for both of you and avoid probably at least 2 journeys - it's a common op now so I'd be comfortable with a good practice doing it rather than a specialist like FRGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000

Really? This is what Xrays were for....0 -
I really feel for you and hope poor Zara gets better very soon once her problems are sorted out.
But I had a little smile, and I hope you will too,at thisgettingready wrote: »Bringing my girl home tonight and will have to manage the stairs 91st Floor Flat) till Friday or till 14th May - depending on which option I go for. And then 12 weeks post op recovery...
cos you would need an op as well if it were true

especially if you were carrying poor Zara as well!!!
As it is, how are you going to manage, will she be able to get up and down the stairs or will you get one very large litter tray!!0 -
just noticed the 3 grand price quoted for cruciate
my dog snapped hers last week it cost me 585 for the op and pills so I would shop around that seems expensive x
get well soon zara x0 -
It may be that prices are much more reasonable where you live, especially as she lives in London, whippet owner..
Plus you have a much smaller dog,so that would make a difference too.0 -
we managed stairs after hips replacement so we will have to manage now somehow too...
3k in London seems to be standard for this operation, called FR and they charge 3.5k so not really much difference - considering0 -
