Seen DD nursery teacher this morning for an update. She has confirmed her school place for September, and given me the end-of-reception requirements list as DD has already exceeded the nursery ones :A. They've included DD in a communication programme for some of the other kiddies as a role model (and asked if I was ok with that) which she seems to be enjoying.
    Well done, Little Miss Moo!

Two phonecalls made, to investment corporations regarding the security of their websites. One adviser was brilliantly helpful, the other was totally carp. What a waste of 15 minutes!

    Well done miss moo.

Just spent ages doing through toiletries and sorting which need using up first and generally tidying up in the places they are kept.

Going to wash up and go work now and it's just started to rain.

:T I've gone one guy coming out tomorrow night to look at the garden / drive work I want doing, I've ordered blinds for two bedrooms with 8% cashback :) and DD is fed.

She's being very lazy today - tired out. She just wants to watch Disney movies...

Right, one more call to the utilities then I'm going in the kitchen. If I'm not back by tomorrow, send in a search party :rotfl:

    Phew. Cuppa time.

I've made an appointment for my smart meters to be installed. I've also mopped the DR and hall floors and got rid of some kitchen gubbins. And cleaned the greasy splash back tiles and sorted the paper piles.

Lastly I've performed an operation in facial reconstruction for DS toy snake. It's not the first time. First he needed a new tongue, and now he's needed an eye sewing back in :rotfl:. DD is now helping said toy "convalesce" :A

One to add to your CV, bossy? :rotfl:

Two sets of emails sent, and WMx2 completed and hung on the whirligig despite black clouds scudding around (but hopefully missing us).

DH has painted some wargaming figures and is offering to take me to the garden centre. I've got a headache and don't really want to go now. My @m@z0n order has arrived so I can't even use "I've got to wait in for..." as an excuse.

Thanks for the spoons, Lynne. I grabbed them quick and managed to re-pot 6 tomato plants and 4 aubergine plants while the chips for our tea were cooking in the oven :) I have also rearranged the house plants on the kitchen and DR windowsills to make room for the bigger pots of tomatoes and aubergines - I have only got a little plastic greenhouse, and we're still likely to get frosts, so the plants will have to grow on indoors for a couple more weeks. Soon I won't be able to see out of the window for greenery!

I slept for 2 hours again after lunch (despite having had 7 hours' sleep last night) and have hopefully staved off a migraine. While I was asleep, DH disappeared "for half an hour" (at least he left me a note saying he'd gone out - that's progress) and came back with reports of a beautiful bluebell wood at least 20 minutes' drive from here, plus he had been for a walk on the hills, so I missed all that :( Part of my problem is that I crave exercise and fresh air but end up sitting at my desk for hours on end because of two of the three voluntary jobs that I do. At least I got some fresh air and enjoyed my garden whilst re-potting. Everything has shot up this week! :)

Choral society practice this evening, with a quick shopping trip beforehand to M'n'S next to the car park.

Squeaks hospital appointment took 2 HOURS!!! We waited half an hour for them to dip a stick in some urine.. serious pee take.. pun intended :p She almost missed her lunch at school!!

Anyway, she is antibiotics for at least 3 months, is to have another ultrasound and to have another kidney test, which I have forgotten the name of but will go google it to see what is involved.

I spent the afternoon at DD1's with the 2 smalls and OH trundled off to the gym. We ended up not having Ava's friend as she had been naughty on the way to school so missed out on coming, she didn't appear to be very bothered tbh... lol.

2 parents spoke to me at school today!!! 2!!!!!!! it is unheard of, no one speaks to me, I am the strange parent that wears sunglasses and a winter coat with the hood up regardless of the weather

dw went on while was doing dinner, 1 load of laundry folded and put away and TD on after the 2 WMs finished.

It is blooming freezing today so I am wearing half my wardrobe, I look like a woolly Michellin man!
