Struggling to achieve anything this week. Yesterday I felt unwell and slept - managed to do the shopping and put everything away in the defrosted FF's but not much else. DH is in a mood and my kitchen floor is horrible. I've still got emails to send and resource boxes to update. Every phone call or email generates more work and more things in my diary, and DH just makes more work for me or sits in his chair playing on his laptop for hours on end or disappears out to play trains / war games.

Sorry to moan, FlyFriends, but I am fed up. It has not been my best week.

LW, I hope you are feeling less shaky now.
    Welcome to newbies and returnees.
Hugs all round. Please excuse me for hanging onto my spoons today.

Iona take a break from it yourself, just do what you absolutely need to do and take some time to do something you enjoy, it will all still be here when you come back and you'll feel better and more able to cope for taking some time off. Hugs.

Thanks for hugs, Mrs-mp. Wish I could take a break from the emails and boxes, but there are deadlines to meet for an exchange visit and an AGM, and DGD 1+2 are coming here tomorrow so I must clean the floor - it's gross!

Hoping to get out to a garden centre for a cuppa and some bits of shopping this afternoon....

Taken ds1 to school and now just having a cuppa and surveying my pit of a house! Hubby says it's because we have kids but it can't all be them. What about the kitchen, our bedroom etc! I know it's harder at the moment because we are packing but it can feel really overwhelming at times, especially on a Thursday . Hubby and I both work mo day, Tuesday and Wednesday and rarely have nothing onin The evenings. So I feel like thursay is my catch up day for 4 days of work.

Anyway rant over, I am going to finish my cuppa and crack on!

    Here is my list...

Declutter floors.. in all these areas!
    Vacuum the living room floors!
    Vacuum stairs
    Clear and mop hallway
Carry on with the boxing up of lego!

    Visit friend with bday pressie
Drop some stuff off at mums
Advertise some stuff for selling- look into gum tree!

    Thanks, Dusty and Frizzle.

In a fit of rage I have hoovered and steam mopped the kitchen, DR and hall floors and hoovered and spot-cleaned the LR carpet.
WMx1 of 2 started (and now it's raining  )
:coffee: made (for both of us!)

Now let's see if I can keep up the momentum, finish my emails and clear the study!
Meanwhile DH might clear all his stuff from the kitchen table and then he wants to go and collect a key for the church hall.

Anyone care to join me in a HHSomething until 10.45? (by which time I reckon I will be in need of more :coffee: )

I think, lynnejk and Mrs MP, I have post-holiday slump. I just can't seem to get moving... But I'll change all that today.

I've put the heating back on

I've found a few numbers to call for the paving quotes I need. So my jobs today:

Make some phonecalls, landscapers and energy monitor thingy
    [STRIKE]Make DS bed[/STRIKE]
Sort laundry - [STRIKE]DS bedding to be dried - will put in airing cupboard[/STRIKE]
Declutter kitchen tops - loads of election stuff I might browse
[STRIKE]Snip the hair out of the vac rollers _pale_[/STRIKE]
    Vac all downstairs
[STRIKE]Do online thingy for kids lunches[/STRIKE]
    Meal plan for weekend
    [STRIKE]Re-measure for blinds and order
    Vac stairs down[/STRIKE]

Think that will do for now - need to talk to beavers leader as apparently I'm running next weeks session, so need to make sure my ideas fit / meet the badge requirements.

Seen DD nursery teacher this morning for an update. She has confirmed her school place for September, and given me the end-of-reception requirements list as DD has already exceeded the nursery ones :A. They've included DD in a communication programme for some of the other kiddies as a role model (and asked if I was ok with that) which she seems to be enjoying. She also reassured me about how they phase nursery kids into school, and it looks like the first two weeks will be easier than I thought, so work will be pleased! All very positive.
Enough of my rambling anyway. Just finishing my cuppa and I'll crack on...
