errr.spendy day here, i did take a couple of tops back to one shop (sports tops but one I could've done with the next size up - which they didn't have. The other one was ok but if I'd have had to choose between the two i'd have chosen the other one - IYKWIM?) then took another top back to primarni that I wasn't 100% sure about...and fell out with 2 more (one to go back, not sure which one), some candles and some wooden hearts - which is not the kind of thing that I normally buy, seen them in there a few times, had an idea of where they would go at home so they're in situ now to see...I'm not 100% convinced yet.

Back out running today, prob the first time I've felt up to it proper after the 1/2m despite being for a couple since then - nice to be back out and ready to focus on the next challenge.

made 12 cards - birthday, thank you etc from old drawer liners, happy birthday bits picked up from a party,old ribbon and old cards.

So,the boys are still snoring away peacefully (the boys being Igor,Hubert and Cheffie).That old 'sleeping tablet in the Ovaltine' really works a treat.
I gave them a double dose,as I want them sleeping as late as possible, so as to have less time to stress out.

Hubert's costume ( extra lucky ra ra skirt,heels,donkey spanx,big nappy,dangly earrings) is laid out on a chair.

Igor is already sewn into his very lucky,embroidered unmentionables,and has decided to forgo the chest wig this time,that is if he's allowed to wear sock suspenders instead.

Cheffie is warbling away even in his sleep.That is a winning snore,if ever I heard one.
Being a man with a bigger fan base than George Clooney,Cheffie is in no doubt about today's performance.Nothing can ruffle that calm demeanour.

What could go wrong?

That was a rhetorical question btw.....nothing will go wrong today.

I am officially off for a whole week :j DH has to work but is off the weekend so I am hoping not to have too many spendy days. That being said today will be one as it's DS2s birthday (23 today :eek:) and I have a card and cake to buy. Hoping to do a massive clearout this week and maybe get some thing listed on Eb*y but will wait and see if I can be ar*ed . I sill have my bedroom to paint (already have the paint so no spendy:D) but can't do that when DH is in as he has to avoid all fumes and pollutants ATM for his throat condition so I am just going to wing it :)
Canny wait to see the boys in their costumes and I'm sure Igor will look better without the fake fuzz on his chest :eek: "My Lovely Donkey" I think we have a winner there
