  • I live in a council house in Rotherham, I was unemployed when I got the house now I am working I am still in the council house and I been working for 8 months now, so no the won't kick you out if you get a job

I have however been removed from the council housing register as I earn enough to find private rented accommodation should I wish to move

I'm not sure what I found funnier. The 104k in savings or asking if there are any flats left in the country that are over 50 years old and whether a new flat would be worthless once it reaches 50 years old :rotfl:

Must be a huge relief for him to have found the money again
Middle of last month he had the money to buy a property cash but within 24 hours he was enquiring about housing benefit as he no longer had the capital

He must be so relieved to not have to worry about housing benefit and waiting for council houses now
(it was rather careless to lose that amount of money....I wonder whether he can hang on to it for longer this time)

no, I am still looking for council housing, because the money is not mine, a friend would give them to me, but it's not sure
