Just like to say that I have had no problems using Mighty Deals and would recommend them.
I ordered the Tesco deal last year when it was a gift card through the post followed by an Asda offer if I remember correctly.
This years was ok, even though it was a long wait to get the electronic voucher.
People who have had problems seem to be those with multiple accounts, when the terms clearly state 1 per customer!!!!
You are so wrong with your comments. OK some may have bent the rules with multiple accounts but most of those who have been ripped off like myself, did nothing wrong. You will see them for what they are one day and then you won't be so lucky.0 -

From what I've read the terms didn't restrict the number of purchases at first, and this was just amended later after people had already purchased.
I only ever bought one, for a single account, and no others purchased within my household or even family.
Mine was cancelled for unsubscribing to their emails which I absolutely didn't do, and even if I had, remaining subscribed was not a stipulation of the terms of the purchase anyway.
Considering I didn't break the rules or even vaguely attempt to 'bend' them, it's completely unacceptable that my order was cancelled at all. To then compound it by holding on to my money for almost 2 months whist ignoring all communications was the nail in the coffin.0 -
Can I just apologise if my reply to curl girl was not as polite/helpful as it should have been - have had a little time to reflect on this and realise that it is unlikely anybody just seeing this would have had a chance to read through 29 pages! I should have taken time to respond more carefully. The whole thing has just been incredibly frustrating and then for someone to imply that those of us who have had issues have done something wrong is a little upsetting. It's also misleading for anybody finding this page without knowing what has gone on, who may think that MD are a fine company to deal with as long as you stick to the rules. Most of us posting in this thread have absolutely kept to the Ts & Cs as they were stated to us when we made the purchase, and have not only had our deals cancelled regardless but as SeduLOUs said, have had a horrible "customer service" experience too.0

While it's great that you didn't have problems, this is just not true which you'll realise if you read this thread through from the beginning. I, for example, was told by MD that my order was cancelled because I had unsubscribed from their emails (which is not true and wasn't a term anyway). I was a new customer (first and last time using MD) who purchased ONE voucher, legitimately, and nobody else in my household made a purchase. Others have received other reasons for cancelling, a number of which were not clearly stated (or stated at all) in the terms and some were even more ridiculous reasons than mine (cancelled because they had not opened the email newsletter, for example).POLAR_BILL wrote: »You are so wrong with your comments. Rubbish.
You claim your terms stated that the offer was strictly for 'loyal' and 'new' customers, but this is not the case. What it actually said was:From time to time Mighty Deals offer loss leaders to reward our loyal customers and to attract new customers.
Regardless of this, I was one of the new customers you speak of who was attracted to MightyDeals by this loss leader, and I absolutely did not unsubscribe from your spam.
From the date of order, and throughout your generic promises of refunds I was receiving 2-3 emails daily from you offering me all sorts of 'Mighty Deals'.
I eventually did unsubscribe long after you had cancelled my order when my ticket was closed without a response and you had made it perfectly clear that you don't care about customers at all.0 -
When all this poop hit the fan, I did unsubsribe on purpose. It's taken a couple of weeks, but I don't seem to be getting any of their spam emails now! :jI Hate Jobsworths!!!0

You could not be more wrong.
MD are not to be trusted in any shape or form whatsoever.
And if the term states 1 per customer why then did they say no more than 2 accounts per household after the event and having taken all that money.!
Also was supposed to refund in 5-7 days, that never happened for a lot of people. My daughter is still waiting for her refund.
They are beyond a joke and anyone who deals with them has been warned.0 -

Best advice, STEER WELL CLEAR! If I ever get my £10 back for 2 per household and they give me free credit I will not use it. They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.0
