It's interesting that the new look forum fills the page perfectly, just like the old one used to.0

I was referring to 2 bits of white on the screen picture that the poster put up to illustrate their problem.
I assume we all are seeing the same pictures ...
Otherwise, how can we be sure we all are seeing the same text ...:whistle:
(Do we see the same smileys?)
Worse is in replying to your quote, I am currently staring at a huge blank space to my left followed by the quote box at the far right and a scrollbar at the bottom, scrolling to the left shows another HUGE gap to the right of equal size. In effect, my quote box is centred on a page that is not only far too wide for the screen, but filled with nothingness. A bit like the design teams heads.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Fermi, do you mean the screenshots? I've deleted mine but it's still doing the same thing. It was never a problem to post screenshots on the forum before.0

That is due to the large image earlier in the thread.
It displays in the thread summary when replying as that shows more posts than the current page.
Should hopefully stop happening when it gets far enough back in the thread,Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

And if I bump it back one more post with this reply, hopefully that will stop it for any new replies after this?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Good.
I use the default, and force an 80% screen width on desktop with a userstyle, so I wouldn't have noticed it does that to my default anyway.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

The people in charge obviously don't care about what the majority of users want any more. If I am forced to use the new version in the future, then I will hardly ever come on and may even leave altogether. I don't usually have a problem with change, but I cannot use the new version of the forum, as it hurts my eyes and gives me a headache.Mortgage Free in 3-T2 : Started at £151,000 Nov. 2009 Mortgage Free Oct 1st 2015
