New look forum again?

It would appear in haste that MSE assumed that the desktop\laptop has already been overtaken by the mobile\tablet. However I do have a Desktop\Laptop\Mobile and Tablet.

When travelling I am not likely to browse MSE on my mobile or tablet, preferring to visit MSE once settled down at home on my Laptop or Desktop, pretty much most of the long term regulars would do likewise when on MSE.

There is no way I would or could use the new version but am holding MSE on their word when they say we can still use the old version. So long as the old version is accessible for me, I will be happy to frequent the site.

Is it possible to revert back to the old one?

It's like google maps, THEY changed too, and I keep going back to the old ones.

Why do they change things when there is nothing wrong with how they are? :mad:

Its just the essential money subboard http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4

Looks like someone has tried to fix but still not managed to.
Compared to Fermi's screenshot in post #11 above now the Stoozing board still shows twice but once above Credit Cards and once below.

There are other instances of this across the subboards. As well as Housedhold & Travel mentioned above, which hasn't been altered yet, also on Shopping & Freebies board the 'Its Gone...' appears twice.

The new format looks childish and the text too large. However I logged in and it looks like it was before (Thankfully).

If it isn't broken (and it wasn't) don't "fix" it...

The new format is cleaner and more modern but far too white. Is there an option for users to change the background colour? If not there should be.

Also I have looked through the sources and found the Magnific Popup jquery - I can't see why or where this is needed and its causing 403 errors with Lightbox in vBulletin.
