Trouble is that I can't decide where to go. I'm not too fussed about sunshine as in recent years I've been to Prague, Krakow and Warsaw at this time of year.
Berlin, Budapest and Gdansk are on my shortlist. Any other ideas?
Check out the links below. looking forward to hearing what you decide?
1. BUDAPEST - MY first choice
2. Coming in at a close 2nd is Berlin0 -

Went there last year. It was OK but I preferred Karakow which is smaller and actually old rather than being rebuilt as much of Warsaw is.0 -

Just realised i havent checked this thread in a while! Sorry for the delay....Lisa great to hear you had a great holiday. What was the weather like for you at that time of the year
The weather was fabulous thanksMost days were sunny although it did rain (a lot!) in Sorrento. Temp was around 18-20C most days. A little hotter in Istanbul. Nights were cool and needed a jumper. Thats a perfect temperature for us though as i dont like it to be red hot when im sightseeing!!
Oh snap on house extension....I'm waiting for my architect to come back with plans, I'm excited but I suspect I might have bitten off way more than I can chew with holiday's and extensions.
My accountant told me how much I owe the taxman too so I'm a bit :mad::(:(:(
HERES TO AN EXCITING 2016, filled with Sun, Sea, Sand, Cocktails, new & unexplored Destinations, Snow, Rain, new food experiences, new and interesting cultural experiences and successful extensions!:beer::j:j
LOL i imagine i will be having a very similar experience once our plans come back!! Cant wait to complete and get it all started!!
So, we have now booked to go away for a long weekend at the last May Bank Holiday to Riga. Friday to Monday, flights, 4* hotel for 2 = £300. Bargain!! :money::money:
Has anyone been to Riga and can recommend things to see???£2 Savers Club #156!
Looking for holiday ideas for 2016. Currently, Isle of Skye in March, Riga in May, Crete in June and Lake District in October. August cruise cancelled, but Baby due September 2016! :j0 -
I am LOVING your style! You are going away every month. Now you need to fill up Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec....I CHALLENGE YOU!
It makes everything so much better having a holiday to look forward to! Here's hoping you manage to squeeze something else in!
Deva - i just noticed you are going to Riga next month - will you come back and update?! Where are you staying??

I've never made it to Poznan yet but Poland is indeed wonderful - cheap, very friendly, historic, safe, great food/drink and just about everyone under 40 speaks decent English (just as well as Polish is an impenetrable language).0 -
Dosh have you decided yet?0
